Why hasn't there been any coverage of the Impact lawsuit?
There hasn't been any because I didn't go to the trial. COVID-19 made that an impossibility, especially since I wasn't getting on a plane and would have had to drive 14 hours to get to Nashville, stay there, travel back when the trial ended and of course, now anyone traveling back from TN to NYC is being required to self-quarantine for 2 weeks. It was safer not to go.
Do you think there is any chance that Bob Caudle will go into the WWE HOF this year or perhaps in the future? I grew up watching NWA/JCP wrestling (I know, I'm giving away my age) and always thought he was a great announcer. Thanks!
Quite honestly, I don't ever see them putting Bob in the WWE Hall of Fame. There is no question he is one of the best announcer ever, but sadly, I sincerely doubt he is anywhere near WWE's radar. They would see him as a regional name and likely wouldn't even consider him even if they ran Wrestlemania in Charlotte. Caudle should be recognized and even more than that, he's one of many names the company should reach out to and interview as he's getting up there in age and has tons of amazing stories that would be great on WWE programming.
My all time favorite championship belt was the FTW title held by TAZ and Sabu. What happened to the belt? Does TAZ still have it and why wasn't any replica belts made to buy online like the other ECW titles?
Taz paid for the creation of that belt, so my guess is that it's still in his possession. There were never any replicas because ECW never sold the rights. I would assume that if Taz wanted to at some point, he could, as it was his title.
Also, is the TAZ SHOW ever coming back? Would you be back on it if it does?
The show went on hiatus once Taz went to AEW after leaving CBS Sports Radio. I am guessing it could come back but I haven't heard any rumblings. I am proud of the appearances I made on the show and it was a lot of fun for me and anytime I can return the favor Taz gave me by inviting me on, I'd be happy to do so if it helps Taz and the Taz Show.
I seem to remember a TV show where Jesse Ventura played a cop who was also a wrestler, but I can't find anything on it. Any ideas where I can find it on DVD?
You are thinking of the 1980s ABC pilot "Tag Team" which starred Ventura and Roddy Piper as blackballed wrestlers who become police officers. The pilot was actually pretty good from what I remember watching it when it aired. The series was not picked up but the in-ring footage that was shot at a WWF event would actually be the last time Ventura wrestled. It can be found floating around on YouTube.
Best Wrestlemania set to date....go?
I really loved the Wrestlemania 29 set with the Brooklyn Bride and the Statue of Liberty and the Wrestlemania 34 set with the Mardi Gras theme.
