World Wrestling Entertainment has released NXT UK star Travis Banks. The news was first reported by John Pollock of POSTWrestling and has been independently confirmed by PWInsider.com via multiple sources.
Last week, Banks was accused by wrestler Millie McKenzie of numerous acts of wrongdoing while he was her trainer, including engaging in a relationship with her while she was under 18. McKenzie stated that as her trainer, Banks abused his position of trust.
Banks responded last week via Twitter, writing:
This is my statement regarding Millie Mckenzie’s comments: pic.twitter.com/b0WaQW3E6Q

WWE has not officially announced Banks' release but has removed him from the NXT UK roster page of their website.
