As PWInsider.com broke last night, New Japan Pro Wrestling held a secret TV taping in California. The Lion's Break Collision tapings were held at the Oceanville Pavillion in Port Hueneme with the production team of Dave Marquez's Championship Wrestling from Hollywood overseeing the taping.
As noted, former MLW Champion Tom Lawlor appeared on the taping. We are told Lawlor worked two matches, one against Rocky Romero and one against Alex Coughlin. MLW was aware of the booking as they teased on their website on Friday Lawlor would be representing them in an inter-promotional match.
PWInsider.com can also confirm that Tyler Bateman vs. Brody King took place on the taping yesterday with that bout scheduled to air on a future episode of ROH TV.
With the ROH bout, there were 11 bouts taped in total on a closed set with social distancing enforced.
