WWE announced via social media officially this afternoon that Johnny Gargano will challenge WWE NXT North American Champion Keith Lee at the 6/7 Takeover: In Your House special on the WWE Network. The match had been expected given recent NXT storylines.
This would be the fifth match confirmed for the event. Previously announced for the event:
*WWE NXT Women's Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Io Shirai.
*WWE NXT Champion Adam Cole vs. The Velveteen Dream - If Dream Loses, he cannot challenge Cole for NXT title again.
*Karrion Kross with Scarlett vs. Tommaso Ciampa.
*Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor.
