DARK SIDE OF THE RING BECOMES HIGHEST RATED SERIES IN VICE TV HISTORY

Variety reported today that professional wrestling docuseries Datk Side if the RIng has become the highest rated series in the history of Vice TV (formerly Viceland), which launched in 2016.

The series has averaged 423,000 viewers per episode with 242,000 in the adults 18-49 demographic.  THe second season, which just completed, averaged 485,000 viewers with 288,000 in the adults 18-49 demographic. Variety states that is up 52% and 73% respectively compared to 2019's first season.

The Owen Hart episode that closed season 2 brought in 626,000 viewers with 390,000 in adults 18-49 when DVR viewings over the first three days after the premiere of the episode was factored in.

All sides are moving forward with plans for a Season three.
