SECOND GENERATION STAR CONFIRMS WWE RELEASE, RELEASED NXT STAR NON-COMPETES EXPIRING THIS WEEK

Rachael Ellering aka Rachel Evers in WWE NXT confirmed she was released as part of last month's WWE cutbacks, posting on social media today that she would be making a "comeback":

Ellering's name had been rumored as having been cut but PWInsider.com had been unable confirm her departure from the company until she confirmed it.  The 27 year old was signed to a WWE deal in January 2019.

The WWE NXT talents who were released last month include:

*Kassius Ohno (aka Chris Hero) 

*Tino Sabbatelli - Signed in October 2014, Sabbatelli was signed after a long career in the NFL.  He debuted in 2016, teaming with Riddick Moss, but had been out of action for a long time due to injuries.  He returned to the ring in January but had not returned to NXT TV.

*Taynara Conti - The Brazilian-born star was signed to NXT in 2017, competed in the first two Mae Young Classic tournaments and had been featured on NXT TV, but not in a consistent role.

*Cezar Bononi - Bononi was signed in October 2015 and debuted on NXT TV in 2017.

*Mars Wang, a recruit from China, who was signed in March 2018.

*Mohamed Abdelfattah aka Mohamed Fahim, an Egyptian-born talent who was signed in Jauary 2018.

*Marcos Gomes, a Brazilian talent signed in May 2019 with a background in Muay Thai and Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

*Faisal Kurdi was signed in June 2019 after a tryout in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  He had a background in Muay Thai and MMA.

*Edgar Lopez, a Mexican talent, was signed in September 2019 after a WWE tryout in Chile.  He came from a football background.

*Bodybuilder Hussain Aldagal, also from Saudi Arabia, was signed following a tryout in June 2019.  

*Yifeng, known as Rocky in NXT rings, was a signee from China with an acting background who had signed in September 2016.  He had been competing on NXT live events as recently as this past February.

All of the talents released had 30 day non-compete, which would be expiring later this week.
