WHAT HAPPENS IF WWE CANCELS A RELEASE, CAN ANYONE GET A WWE RELEASE RIGHT NOW, BOXING IN THE WWE PC AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2020-05-01 10:00:00

How are you doing Sir?  I was thinking about the recent WWE releases and a question came to mind. If a WWE talent has been released, but just days before the no-compete ended, WWE decided to rescind their termination, could WWE reactivate their contracts and force wrestlers to remain with WWE or would talents be free to leave at the end of the no-compete? I honestly have no idea how that would work.  Appreciate the help.  Keep up the great work and stay safe.  Thanks.

If WWE rescinded the release, as they have in the past with Matt Hardy and The Blue Meanie, among others, those talents would remain under their original contracts and continue under those terms.

Is it true anyone who wants a WWE release right now can get one?

No.  Does anyone really think WWE would allow a situation where Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton could all walk out of the company at once with a full release?  Come on.  That is never happening.

Do you think WWE will let boxing in the WWE PC?

It's possible but I don't think they will, because then they would be opening up the facility to a whole new grouping of people who can come in and then they have to worry about cross-contamination.

Where does Hornswoggle live?  I could swear I saw him in Brooklyn.

To the best of my knowledge, he lives in Wisconsin.

How are wrestling schools going to stay open if they can't run classes?

You've just asked the big question of every business, big and small.  We don't have answers.
