THE ONE TALENT RELEASED BY WWE THAT I WANT TO SEE AEW HIRE, BRAUN’S FUTURE, GRONK’S TITLE AND MORE

So as far as I know, as of the time of me writing this, Gronkowski still has the 24/7 title.  Any plans to get it off of him?  Or will another wrestler somehow get it back and the cameras just happened not to be there to see the title change?

I can’t say one way or another but it’s not urgent, for two reasons.  One, it’s a Title that doesn’t matter and two, the NFL won’t be practicing any time soon.

So since the original plan was for Goldberg vs. Roman and that had to be changed for Roman's health concerns and now they put the title on Braun, does Braun become a transitional champion only to drop it back to Roman once all the health concern restrictions are lifted and life attempts to get back to normal?

On Thursday’s conference call, Vince McMahon said many times there is no crystal ball right now.  The virus is still running rampant.  Will that change any time soon?  Probably not.  Will Roman even come back?  Who knows, he has other options, for sure.  So I would think at this point, that won’t be the case.

So hypothetical question: WWE decides they want to make their hall of fame more like pro sports and adds “contributors,” and they ask you to be a member? Is that a yes for you (because it’s an honor) or a no (because it gives the appearance of favoritism)?

If they were going to make the Hall legitimate, like the NFL’s for example, sure I would do it.  Why not, it would be a good thing to honor deserving people.  I would NOT take any payment to do it however.

I’m writing this, pissed off, right after the Maverick-Atlas match. WWE turning Drake’s real life layoff into a storyline, made me believe they might give him a happy ending, or at least make him look good. But after watching the match, are they really going to have him lose three straight and go out like a chump?  Please tell me Vince isn’t punishing Drake on the way out for all the love he got for his farewell video :(

I don’t know if he will lose all three but he wanted to do it and they let him.  I don’t see an issue with it.  Who knows, maybe he can convince them to keep him.  If not, he is doing what he loves a little while longer.

We are fairly certain AEW will pick up some of the talent that WWE let go. Do you think there is a chance they could hire the referee? It seems the ones they have now sometimes gets me distracted from the actual match, Aubrey especially. From always hovering over the wrestlers when they are down to selling the moves as much as the wrestlers do. With his 30 years of experience, maybe he can teach them some things. Am I off base on this one?

There are some people that were released that I would love to see WWE but of all of them, bringing in a good referee would probably be at the top of my wish list.  Absolutely.  Reffing has been a problem for AEW at times and Mike Chioda would be a great addition there.
