We have been asked by several readers about the status of the Impact Wrestling Rebellion PPV on 4/19. We are told that while the event won't be taking place as a PPV in New York City, there are plans to move forward with Rebellion in some form and perhaps re-tool the PPV as a special Impact on AXS episode or AXS special. We are told that there will be at least two new matches for the event announced on tonight's Impact Wrestling episode and that the company has at least a tentative plan to tape new material in an empty arena setting. Announced thus far for that event:
*Impact Champion Tessa Blanchard vs. Michael Elgin vs. Eddie Edwards.
*Ken Shamrock vs. Sami Callihan.
They have also been building to X-Division Champion Ace Austin vs. Willie Mack for Rebellion as well.
Tenille Dashwood will be in action on next week's Impact.
