Can you explain to me why WWE would give away old Wrestlemanias on ESPN? Why would they do this when you have to pay for them on the Network?
I can give you a few reasons. One, they are getting paid for the content. Two, it promotes this year's Wrestlemania. Three, it promotes the WWE Network. Four, it allows them to build a relationship with ESPN, which is owned by Disney, a massive juggernaut in the world of entertainment. Should we continue?
Who do you think will be the first promoter to book Teddy Hart after this?
Unless he is found innocent, I don't think Hart will have the opportunity to get in a wrestling idea anytime soon.
How has coronavirus changed handshakes in the locker room?
I know that MLW had banned them before the situation even began a pandemic. Beyond that, I hadn't heard of anything being an official edict, but I would think most wrestlers who are still performing are being very judicious about handshakes and such.
I remember an old black and white movie about a promoter in London and an old wrestler dies in the ring and everyone is hunting the promoter, looking to kill him. Since I am stuck at home, any idea what the film might be, so I can track it down?
It sounds vaguely like the classic 1950 noir film "Night and the City", which told the the story of a hustler who gets involved in the London professional wrestling scene. The city is right, so that's probably it. The older wrestler is Stansilaus Zbyszko, who has a great featured role in the film. Here's the trailer:
Where's Larry Zbyszko these days?
Retired and living in Florida.
