WWE RAW 2020 Results from Winnipeg, Canada
WWE is back to Canada with the Bell MTS Place. Below you will find the most prominent results of one of the episodes of WWE RAW from February 2020 prepared by Newest Female Reporter Jamie Rush.
Generally speaking, betting online on different sports is popular in Canada for a long time now. People there, as anywhere in the world, still have this desire for entertainment and blood sometimes. The whole thing started with Randy Orton kept saying “I’m sorry” after attacking multiple superstars during one of the episodes of WWE Raw 2020. Orton publicly apologized and mentioned that he isn't one to get emotional, but lately he's become "unbalanced". Randy reminded everyone that Adam, more known as Edge, could not be there that night because of what he did to him in response to his betrayal: "Ladies and Gentleman, Edge can't be here tonight because of what I did to him almost a month ago." After that, the crowd started booing and chanting “we want Edge!”.
Notably, the season was opened with the "In My Veins" song while Randy Orton makes his way to the stage and gets officially announced by the commentator.
Among others, Jerry Lawler, Tom Phillips, and Byron Saxton were commenting on Drew McIntyre’s match against Ricochet at Super ShowDown. This evening, there were also other matches confirmed: Seth Rollins vs. Montez Ford and Murphy vs. Angelo Dawkins. Lastly, six women were set to sign the contract that night for the Women's Elimination Chamber Match.
Later, Kevin Owens makes his way down the ramp, interrupts Orton and gets on the ring. After, he starts openly provoking Orton saying that Orton is just another issue he has to “deal with”. By the end of the match, Kevin Owens took Randy Orton in a single round. Namely, the match between these two fighters was booked right after two exchanged words between each other during the opening of the show.
In the meantime, it was a fairly grabbing contest until Seth Rollins, Murphy, and AOP appeared at ringside to try and take all the attention to themselves and cause some distraction. Nonetheless, The Street Profits and The Viking Raiders arrived shortly after to fend off the heels at ringside.
After the referee hit a quick three count to award Orton the win, Owens grabbed the referee to then pull off his shirt to reveal a Monday Night Messiah shirt underneath. That is when it was clear that the referee had been working for Rollins all along. Owens then decides to hit the referee, power bombed him through a table as Rollins watched on from the top of the ramp to end Raw.
Another highlight of the WWE Raw 2020 was the match between Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo. As a result of the match, Garza counter rolls Carrillo with legs on either side of Carrillo holding him down. And it all ends with the three count pin for the winning of Angel Garza.
