Tony Schiavone announced on his Twitter that he is now with AEW full-time, choosing leaving his duties in the baseball world behind.
In a major win for AEW, their new action figure line will be carried by Wal-Mart stores when they are released this August. The first wave will feature Cody, The Young Bucks, Brandi Rhodes, Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega. There will be short-packed variants of of Cody in his "Starfleet-esque shirt and Omega in his outfit from Fight for the Fallen, which will be very rare. The second wave, likely hitting in October, will feature MJF, Rey Fenix, Pentagon, Hangman Page, Jon Moxley and Dustin Rhodes. The entire AEW roster has been scanned for action figures and the plan is to roll out everyone in the company over time with new waves every few months. There will also be collector's sized wrestling rings, a smaller ring aimed for kid's play and an AEW Championship belt replica. Jazwares/Wicked Cool Toys are 1000% behind the line and will be giving it a big push.
The first-ever RingsideCollectibles.com exclusive AEW action figure will be announced this weekend at C2E2.
There is a LOT of talk that Lance Hoyt is coming in next month, especially since he is not listed for the New Japan Cup. AEW teased him as the Exalted One a few days ago online. Their latest tease for the Dark Order leader was released this AM:
