We begin with highlights of Hard Times, where NWA World Champion Nick Aldis agreed to defend the title against Flip Gordon in exchange for Aldis, if successful, being able to call all of the shots in any and all future dealings with Villain Enterprises. Aldis defeated Gordon to successfully retain the NWA World Title.
Sadly, it appears we will have a Dokken-less episode as we go straight to Joe Galli and Stu Bennett. We go to the newest member of the NWA broadcast team, Sean Mooney (WHERE IS DAVE MARQUEZ?!?!?). He brings out Nick Aldis and congratulates him on winning at Hard Times and asks about the tension between he and Marty Scurll. Aldis praises Mooney’s intelligence and reminds him that the champion is not one to brag. Aldis praises Flip Gordon but he fell short, saying his name should be Flop Gordon compared to him. Aldis says Marty Scurll doesn’t want any of him. Mooney reminds Aldis that he had Scurll removed from the building at Hard Times. Aldis had Scurll escorted out for 2 reasons. First was to maintain the integrity of the world title. Second was because he, the world champion, calls the shots. Aldis has arranged a closed-door meeting with he and Marty Scurll, which will air at the end of the program.
Stu and Joe discuss what could have possibly happened in that meeting. All the newly crowned NWA Champions from Hard Times will appear tonight.
We see the closing moments of Eli Drake and James Storm’s victory in the Triple Threat Match from Hard Times to win the NWA World Tag Team Title and the respect the new champions showed to the now former champions, The Rock and Roll Express.
Joe and Stu are back with Sal Rinauro, who is out with a broken arm.

Luckily, Dave Marquez is at ringside as our ring announcer. Lockup, Isaacs with a gut punch on the break. Chops in the corner by Isaacs followed by ramming Gunn into the turnbuckles. Isaacs blocks an armdrag and hits a low dropkick. Fisherman suplex for 2 by Isaacs. Royce lays in uppercuts. Back elbow by Isaacs, he misses a charge and Gunn nails a dropkick which retreats Isaacs. Isaacs gets in Rinauro’s face as he takes umbrage with Rinauro’s commentary. He makes it back to the ring and Gunn rolls him up for 2. Full Nelson into a German Suplex and Isaacs gets the pin.
WINNER: Royce Isaacs
Isaacs seems upset with Valentine. He threatens Rinauro as he leaves.
We get highlights of Thunder Rosa’s victory over Allysin Kay at Hard Times for the NWA World Women’s Championship.
We get a recap of the controversy brewing between The Pope and Eddie Kingston. We get a look at an attack by the Dawson Brothers, led by The Pope, on Eddie Kingston.
Kyle Davis welcomes Thunder Rosa, who is joined by Marti Belle and Melina. Davis asks how she’s feeling and Melina answers the question instead, praising her own mentoring skills. Davis thinks the audience really wants to hear from the new champion. Melina interrupts again and gets drowned out by the crowd. It is announced that Kay has asked for and will receive a rematch, next week on Powerrr for the NWA Women’s Title. Rosa wants it made perfectly clear that she will be a fighting champion and no woman on the planet can beat her. Melina declares the interview over and the group walks off.
We get highlights of Ricky Starks’ three victories at Hard Times to become the new NWA TV Champion.
Dave Marquez welcomes Ricky Starks. Starks talks about the tough road he had to take to get the title. Being the new TV Champion, he knows he may have to defend the title every week, like legendary champions of the past did. He’s not going to re write history, he’ll add pages to the book. He calls out Zicky Dice. Dice struts out and sarcastically congratulates Starks. Dice blames the NWA office for costing him his shot at the title. Dice brags about his $16,000 fanny pack, his $4500 earrings and his $6000 sunglasses. Starks challenges Dice to a match.
NWA TV Title Match: Ricky Starks (champion) vs Zicky Dice (6:05 time limit)
Dice flexes and they lock up, Dice with an arm drag and swivels his hips. Headlock by Dice, he takes Starks down with shoulderblock and a reverse atomic drop. He charges and Starks meets him with an arm drag, followed by another. Dropkick by Starks, Dice to the apron. Dice blocks a turnbuckle smash and does one of his own. He goes to the second rope and leaps but Starks with an axhandle. Dice nails a clothesline off of on Irish Whip. Dice stomps Starks in the corner.
*At this moment Galli explains a benefit of the NWA TV Title. Because of the amount of work involved in being champion, if the champion wins seven straight matches, he will qualify for an NWA World Title opportunity. A 6:05 time limit draw will qualify as a win towards the seven*
Dice with a Northern Lights for 2. Dice with chops in the corner. Sling Blade by Starks off of a reversed Irish Whip into the corner. Starks with a dropkick off the 2nd rope for 2. Dice with a punch, Starks with a slap. Dice tries the Snake, Rattle and Roll but Starks rolls through it and hits a reverse atomic drop. Starks with the Stroke and he gets the pin.

Joe Galli welcomes new NWA World Tag Team Champions Eli Drake and James Storm. We get a few “Yeah”s by Drake. Galli asks if they have a team name. No name but you can call them champs. Storm says sorry about the damn luck of the rest of the locker room.
Aron Stevens and The Question Mark come out. Stevens with a display of Mongrovian KARATAY. Stevens introduces himself to the champions and brags about going through Scott Steiner. Storm says Stevens looks like the cow from Chic-Fil-A and makes some real bad jokes. Stevens says he hopes Storm is sterile. Storm is cracking up Bennett, who’s visibly laughing in the background. Drake, who might he one of the most charismatic men in wrestling today, tells Galli to do him a favor, pass Stevens and The Question Mark a message that they’ll get to them. Stevens continues yelling at Storm and Drake and Trevor Murdoch comes out. He congratulates Ricky Starks can calls him a fighting champion. He respects Ricky Starks but has none for Aron Stevens. Murdoch went to the NWA and they’ve ordered Aron Stevens to defend his 3rd Degree National Title against him. Question Mark with the Mongrovian Spike on Murdoch.
We get highlights of Nick Aldis’ victory over Flip Gordon at Hard Times.
Marty Scurll is sitting in the empty studios waiting for Nick Aldis. The champion comes out and sits besides Scurll. Very businesslike, Aldis explains the position Scurll put him in. Aldis says he takes care of himself, looks out for the boys and looks out for the NWA. He reminds Marty that they’ve been friends since their teenage years. Aldis thought Marty was different from the other phonies in the business. When Marty got hot, no one was happier than Nick. Nick reminds him he always gave Marty a pep talk and words of advice. Nick was surprised last year at the Crockett Cup when Marty challenged him. That match should have been the end of it. Aldis takes credit for the huge, life changing deal Scurll cut with Ring of Honor.
Scurll interrupts Aldis and tells him that although the NWA Title defines Aldis, Scurll himself is defined by “could’ve” and “should’ve”. Every fan tells him he should be champion. It is a personal shame that he is not. Scurll says he’s eaten alive by losing at Crocket Cup 2019 and Madison Square Garden. Scurll tells Aldis that he knows he can beat him. Scurll laments that Aldis wasn’t satisfied with his win at Crockett Cup. Aldis says to cry him a river. Scurll asks for one last chance at the title, offers the complete match purse.
Aldis says he’ll dictate the terms. It WILL be at the Crockett Cup 2020. Aldis dictates Scurll personally refunds every single ticket bought for the Crockett Cup. Aldis will give him time to think about it.
