205 Live opened with highlights of the qualfying matches that aired last night on NXT UK for this Saturday's WWE Cruiserweight Championship match at Worlds Collide.

Ariya Daivari vs. Tyler Breeze.

It's all Breeze early on with dropkicks, punches and an enziguiri.  Daivari catches Breeze with a dropkick that knocks him off the apron to the floor.  Daivari tosses him back into the ring and scores a two count with a neckbreaker.   He nailed a bacl elbow and controls Breeze until he's dropped intyo a jawbreaker.  Daivari is sent over the top to the floor.  Back in the ring, Daivari cuts off Breeze and cinches on the Muta Lock.  Tyler escapes and scores a two count with a backslide.  Breeze nails the Tomakaze but Daivari places his foot on the ropes.  Breeze finally nails a lariat for the pin.

Your winner, Tyler Breeze!

Daivari is shocked.

The usual good work you'd expect from these two.

Backstage, The Brian Kendrick sees Daivari and tells him he looks like he could use a friend.  Kendrick says that after NXT UK this week, he could use one too and reminds him that "I already scratched your back."

The Brian Kendrick vs. Danny Burch

Burch scores early with a lot of strikes and slams Kendrick.    Kendrick fired away with elbows to put some distance between them but is caught with several uppercuts and a Thesz Press.  Burch drilled Kendrick with a series of right hands.  He elevated and slammed Kendrick to the mat.  They battle to the floor, where Kendrick is sent into the ring steps.  He brings him around the ring to another set of steps and repeats the feat.  Kendrick caught him and sent Burch into the steps.  Burch returns to the ring at the nine count but is immediately trapped in the Captain's Hook submission in the center of the ring.  Burch forced his way to his feet and tried to backdrop Kendrick, but Brian lands on his feet, drills him in the back of the neck and locked the Captain's Hook on again.  Burch fought his way to the ropes and exploded with uppercuts and lariats.  Kendrick went for sliced bread #2 but Burch shoved him off.  He went for a lariat but Burch was poked in the eye.  Burch went for a sunset flip near the ropes. Kendrick dropped down and covered him and Daivari, who had walked out, grabbed his hand and held it to give him additional leverage for the pinfall.

Your winner, Brian Kendrick!

Good action and we have a new alliance.

They aired a commercial for tomorrow's Worlds Collide PPV.

They discussed the new alliance before pushing that all the Cruiserweights will be keeping an eye on the Worlds Collide PPV.  They said that no matter who comes out the winner, Lio Rush will be waiting for the champion.

Tony Nese vs. Lio Rush.

Nese said that he should be Champion and competing at Worlds Collide.  The announcers said that the winner will be in line for a future title shot.  They began arguing at the bell.  Nese shoved Rush, who shoved back.

Rush kept using his speed to evade Nese before he was shoulderblocked down.  Rush came back with an enziguiri and a kick to the jaw.  Rush worked over Nese in the corner.  Rush went to come out of the corner but was nailed.  Nese swept his legs, crashing Rush down into the ring.  Nese scored a two count.  Nese went to the top for the 450 splash but Rush rolled to the outside.  Nese was kicked off the apron and hit with a suicide dive.  The crowd chanted for Lio.

Lio went to slam Nese into the apron, but Nese blocked it and sent him into the table.  He went to send Rush into the stairs but Lio leapt over them.  They caught up to each other in the ring, where Nese kicked him down and scored a two count.  Nese whipped him into the buckles with authority.  He repeated with another stiff whip into the buckles.  Rush fired back but Nese leapt and caught him with a stiff dropkick for a two count.  Nese locked on a body scissor around the mid-section, trying to crush the fight out of Rush.

Rush nailed several elbows to break free.  He and Nese began chopping each other while in the hold.  Rush exploded with right hands to escape and sent Nese into the ropes.  Nese held on and they went into a series of exchanges.  Rush caught him with a kick to the face.  He nailed a flying bodypress but Nese caught him and went to slam him but Rush landed safely and avoided Nese's offensive maneuvers.  Rush caught him with the Cutup for a two count.

Lio went to the top but Nese rolled out of the way.  Rush went to grab him but Nese nailed him with a thrust.  Nese went for a double jump moonsault but Rush rolled out of the way.  Nese catches him with a pumphandle slam for another two count.  Rush exploded with punches in the corner.  The referee pulled him back, allowing Nese to knee him in the mid-section.  Nese went to the top for the 450 splash but Rush kicked his legs out.  Rush nailed a kick to the head.  Rush went to the top but Nese caught him with a leaping strike.  Rush ended up outside on the apron.  Nese was going to the top when Rush met him again on the top

They battled for dominant positioning on the ropes and nailed each other with right hands at the same time, crashing down to the floor on opposite sides at the same time.  Nese grabbed Lio and tossed him over the announcers' table, then scrambled into the ring to beat the count.

Your winner by countout, Tony Nese!

A good match with a finish that sets up a rematch.

They showed a pissed off close-up of Rush after the match.  Oh yeah, we are getting more of this.

The announcers plugged tomorrow's Worlds Collide Cruiserweight title match.

We went off the air with Nese telling Rush he was better than him and any of the fans who were there.
