The Rock's latest film Jumanji - The Next Level - had its world premiere last night in Los Angeles. The film will open this weekend theatrically.
Promotional material for the film notes:
"In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world's most dangerous game."
The initial film brought in over $1 billion globally at the box office. Jake Kasdan is directing the sequel. The entire original cast, including Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan have returned for the film.
