WCW ran Slamboree PPV events from May 1993 through May 2000 before the company was sold to WWE in 2001. An existing trademark filed by WCW in 1998, expired in 2005.
Runnells also applied to trademark SuperBrawl for "G & S: Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, production and distribution of ongoing television programs in the field of professional wrestling; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network"
WCW produced Superbrawl PPV events from May 1991 through February 2001. WCW also trademarked that term in 1996 with the trademark expiring in 2005.
