Road to Power Struggle - Super Jr. Tag League

Match 1: Yota Tsuji and Jyushin Thunder Liger vs. Karl Fredericks and Tomoaki Honma
Fredericks forces Tsuji to submit to a single-leg Boston Crab. Quick match. Liger shook hands with all competitors as his retirement tour continues.
Match 2: Shingo Takagi, SANADA, EVIL and Tetsuya Naito vs. DOUKI, Zack Sabre Jr., Minoru Suzuki and Taichi
Just like the night before, this match got out of control quickly, with the focus on Naito and Taichi. Suzuki-gun isolated SANADA and worked over his neck. ZSJ punished SANADA with submission combinations. SANADA tagged out to EVIL and worked over Minoru Suzuki. All eight men in the ring and they spill to the floor. DOUKI and Takagi trade wicked shots on each other. Takagi hits a pumping bomber on DOUKI for the win.
Match 3: Toa Henare, Tomohiro Ishii and Hirooki Goto vs. Yujiro Takahashi, with Pieter, KENTA and Jay White, with Gedo
Goto attacks White before the bell and the fight spills into the crowd. Goto and Ishii are hit with chairs by White and KENTA. Back in the ring, Bullet Club works over Goto. Goto tags in Ishii and he squares off with KENTA. They hit each other with vicious strikes. Henare and Takahashi both tag in. Takahashi hits a fisherman buster, and DDT for a pin on Henare.
KENTA and White taunt Goto and Ishii who chase them away from ringside.
Match 4: Yuya Uemura and Tiger Mask vs. Rocky Romero and Ryusuke Taguchi
Fast paced match with comedy spots. Taguchi pins Uemura.
Match 5: Titan and Volador Jr. vs. Clark Conners and TJP
Titan pins Conners with double stomp from the top rope. Titan and Volador are so fun to watch. TJP is still sharp as ever. Conners was able to keep pace with these veterans and looks like a future star in NJPW.
Match 6: Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado vs. El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori
Suzuki-gun attacks Bullet Club before the bell. Both teams used all their tricks to get the win. Lots of low blows. ELP tried to hit Desperado with the IWGP British Jr. Heavyweight belt Kanemaru low blows ELP. Desperado takes the belt and smashes ELP in the face. Ishimori goes for a low blow on Desperado who blocks it with the belt. Kanemaru hits the Suntori Surprise in Ishimori’s face and Desperado follows with the belt into his face. Desperado hits Pinche Loco on Ishimori for the pin.
Match 7: Robbie Eagles and Will Ospreay vs. SHO and YOH
This is a match up of CHAOS members between the Birds of Prey and Roppongi 3K. SHO has his back taped up due to the beating from Kanemaru and Desperado last night. Gambino noted Ospreay was suffering from food poisoning earlier in the day. Birds of Prey work over YOH with aerial attacks. YOH makes a hot tag to SHO. SHO attempts a deadlift German suplex on Ospreay but his back was hurting. Ospreay hits SHO with a flipping leg lariat. Ospreay gets cocky by hitting multiple kicks and slaps to SHO. SHO’s adrenaline kicks in and hits a lariat on Ospreay. Ospreay counters with a German suplex and a hook kick to SHO’s face. SHO rebounded with a super lariat flipping Ospreay over. Eagles and YOH tag in. YOH grounds Eagles with kick to the knee and a figure four leg lock. Eagles gets the rope break. YOH gets tossed from the ring by Eagles. SHO attempts to interfere but get tossed onto YOH. Eagles hits a Hilo through the ropes onto Roppongi 3K. Eagles get YOH back in the ring, drop kicks his knee, hits a shiranui and locks in he Ron Miller special submission. SHO stomps on Eagles to break it up. Ospreay jumps in hits a thrust kick to SHO and Birds of Prey hit him with a double enzuigiri. Birds of Prey hit a combination of a shiranui and power bomb on YOH who kicks at two. Birds of Prey hit YOH with kicks in the corner and put him on the top rope for the Red Wing. YOH fights them off. Birds of Prey leap to the top rope to try again. Ospreay gets knocked to the floor. SHO comes in and grabs Eagles in a torture rack back breaker. YOH comes from the top rope with a knee to Eagles who is dropped by SHO into a falcon arrow. Ospreay breaks up the pin. Ospreay fights both Roppongi 3K, who hit him in face with a double knee. SHO hits a lung blower on Eagles and YOH smashes him with a missle dropkick. SHO and YOH go for their 3K finisher but Eagles counters with a DDT on YOH and a superkick to SHO. Eagles attempts a 450 splash on YOH. YOH attempts to block it. Eagles tries for a Ron Miller submission but YOH turns it into a small package. Only a two count. YOH and Eagles go for a series of pin attempts and reversals that were amazing. YOH is able to pin Eagles.
