There should be an announcement within the next two days about Impact Wrestling's official debut on AXS TV. AXS has moved Dan Rather's program from Tuesday to Wednesday nights, so the smart betting is on Impact landing on Tuesdays at 8 PM Eastern. We are told that while the Impact weekly series will not debut on AXS TV until after Bound for Glory, you can expect Impact programming on the network much earlier in October. Scott D'Amore and Josh Matthews were filming wrap-arounds for that programming in Los Angeles last week.
John Pollock of POSTWrestling.com reported this evening that Impact Wrestling’s Vice President of Production Kevin Sullivan will be leaving the company. Pollock reported that the belief is that Sullivan will be leaving for All Elite Wrestling. PWInsider.com can confirm that Sullivan is AEW bound, as is Jim Morris, who worked closely with Sullivan on Impact's production end. Sullivan had been doing work for AEW even prior to their debut PPV and internally within Impact, it was not a huge shock when he gave notice. We are told that those leaving (there are a few other production types also departing Impact for AEW, but we have yet not confirmed names) will be closing out their responsibilities with Impact and that the company already has a transition team in place. The plan is to still house TV production out of Nashville going forward. Sullivan has previously worked for WWE, DirecTV and FOX Sports as a Producer. This will be the end of his second tenure with Impact, as he returned to the company as part of Jeff Jarrett's team after Anthem took over Impact from Dixie Carter. Sullivan had also been working as a Producer for BELLATOR. There's no word if his tenure there will be ending.
