Impact star Moose had been calling out Shamrock in recent weeks.
Shamrock won the NWA title on the debut episode of NWA: TNA (now Impact Wrestling) in a Gauntlet back in June 2002, losing the belt to Ron Killings (R-Truth) several months later. This would be his first appearance since 2004 for the promotion.
