The eyes of the boxing world will be cast towards London's well established O2 Arena when August 31 rolls around this summer, as the world's best boxer Vasyl Lomachenko takes to the ring against Britain's Luke Campbell.
Ukrainian maestro Lomachenko has swiftly risen to prominence in the paid ranks after what was widely regarded to be the greatest ever amateur boxing career.
The now 31-year-old is the fastest ever two-weight and three-weight world champion in the history of the sport and is already a modern-day great after such an incredible run of performances inside the squared-circle inside only 14 professional bouts.
After overcoming Manchester-born challenger Anthony Crolla in emphatic style back in April of this year, 'Loma' now has his sights set on handing Yorkshireman Campbell a similar fate when the pair collide in the English capital.
In the Vasyl Lomachenko vs Luke Campbell betting from Paddy Power, it's the reigning and defending champion that is regarded as the overwhelming odds-on 1/16 favourite to prevail as widely expected.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian maestro's latest challenger can be backed at an outside 15/2 to pull off what would be one of the greatest upsets ever by a British fighter.
No one is expecting Campbell to pull off a truly remarkable upset when they trade leather this summer but he has the style and skills to make it interesting early on.
The Hull challenger will probably provide more of a sterner contest than what compatriot 'Million Dollar' Crolla did back in April but the final outcome will still likely be the same come the end of proceedings.
Trained by highly regarded young coach Shane McGuigan, the son of former world champion Barry, Campbell will still be confident of causing a few surprises when the opening bell sounds in London.
But it's a truly mountainous task that lies ahead of the former 2012 Olympic Gold medallist in the capital.
Lomachenko is currently in possession of the WBA 'Super', WBO and Ring Magazine belts, while the vacant WBC title is also up for grabs in this clash, and he has previously outlined his intentions of becoming the undisputed king of the 135 lbs weight class.
'Loma's' compatriot and close friend Oleksandr Usyk achieved such a feat before when he won the cruiserweight World Boxing Super Series tournament to lift the inaugural Muhammad Ali Trophy and all of the belts available at 200 lbs.
At lightweight, Lomachenko is aiming to do the same after beating Campbell. He would hold all but one crown in the division if he is to beat the Yorkshireman on August 31st as widely expected.
The other champion is currently Richard Commey, who holds the IBF strap. The African fighter is scheduled to face Lomachenko's well-touted rival Teofimo Lopez later this year, which could potentially set up a high-profile undisputed encounter further down the line.
Lomachenko must first deal with whatever threat Campbell poses first, as the best fighter on the planet prepares for what could well be another masterclass in London.
