The worlds of both boxing and wrestling have long boasted larger-than-life characters and big-name stars who transcend their own sport and attracted a wider audience.
That's still the case today across the two sporting backgrounds, but there have been cases when the two have crossed over to the delight and entertainment of fans.
Throughout the history of the WWE, there have been a host of top-name boxers who have left their gloves behind temporarily in order to feature in the wrestling ring instead. This includes the likes of legends Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield, while Floyd Mayweather Jr is a more recent cameo appearance.
With that in mind, here are several fighters from the sport that could well prove to be a big hit if they were to cross over to WWE in the near future.

When it comes to larger-than-life characters currently making a name for themselves in boxing, you can look no further than former unified world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.
The British fighter has come prevailed through some tough times in his personal life to become one of the biggest attractions both in and out of the ring.
With his incredible size and stature and famous enigmatic speeches in front of the cameras, Fury could well be a huge charismatic asset if he were to arrive on the WWE scene.
Fury will first have to deal with his next opponent, Otto Wallin in his latest American outing before heading for a touted second scuffle with Deontay Wilder.
He is currently regarded as the odds-on 8/11 favourite with bet365 in the latest boxing odds to beat Wilder in their anticipated rematch, which is reported to be signed to take place next year.
Alongside his former opponent, Fury, Deontay Wilder is another highly charismatic fighter both in the ring during bouts and outside of it with a microphone in his hand.
The American has long been a controversial man, with his comments in the past having raised eyebrows around the world of boxing.
If he were to be given a chance in any WWE ring as a villain that fans would love to hate, the chaos would be brilliant to see!
He's a very large heavyweight in stature and his athletic ability would surely see him make an easy transition to the world of wrestling if that's what he ever decides to do. Either way, the WWE would definitely benefit from welcoming such an industry giant.
Ukrainian ace Oleksandr Usyk is perhaps one of the most entertaining fighters today, mixing his incredible skills in the squared-circle with his entartaining personality to create a very interesting sporting personality.
The former undisputed cruiserweight world champion is as entertaining as they come, with boxing media always looking to get the next catchphrase or gif-able video of him.
With his hilarious nature coupled with his technical boxing brilliance for such a big man, he would undoubtedly be a massive hit if he were to move across into the WWE at some point in his career.
Whether these three boxing stars decide to jump on over to the WWE for a few quick bouts in the wrestling ring, one thing is for sure, the sport would most probably be delighted to welcome a trio of larger-than-life characters into the arena.
