OTIS AS A SINGLE, 24/7 TITLE, LEGENDS PROMOTION AND MORE

When you look at Heavy Machinery, Tucker is ok but Otis is by far the star of the team.  If Vince is so high on Otis as Dave says he is, do you think their days as a team are numbered and it's only a matter of time until they break up the team and give Otis a singles push?

Vince clearly enjoys Otis in his role as a mid card comedy gimmick.  I don’t think that means he suddenly pushes him as a top guy.  That is a much different role.  He likes Otis as the Dozer so I think they will stay a team, kind of like The New Day have.

Is there any word on NXT is air live on FS1 to counter AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite on TNT this October?

Not that I have heard.  If I were WWE, I would only do something like that if FS1 paid significant rights fees.  I don’t see any reason to take on expense, plus change the concept of the NXT brand, just to counter AEW.

I’ve noticed a lot of people in the Q&A section that are down on the idea of the 24/7 title.  My question is twofold - is the 24/7 title meant to be rehash of the Hardcore Title from the Attitude Era, or was WWE inspired by the popularity of the DDT Pro Ironman title?

It’s a rehash of the 24/7 Title.  I highly doubt Vince even knows what the DDT Title is.

Additionally, why does it seem that people who aren’t fans of the concept only seem to show their disdain for the WWE version, considering former title holders of the DDT Pro Ironman belt include a cat, a chicken shish-kabob, and Vince McMahon’s Walk of Fame star?

I can say this with real confidence, most people have no idea what the DDT Pro Ironman Title is.  But, they do know what the 24/7 Title is.

A few years ago Shane Douglas said he was going to start a classic wrestling promotion backed by someone that was going to give wrestlers benefits and insurance. What's the status of that(if any)? Will AEW give insurance and benefits for their wrestlers?

He was in talks with Caesars Entertainment to do a legends promotion as an attraction at the Rio in Las Vegas but it never got past the talking stages.
