Impact Wrestling had roughly 1,000 fans in Dallas, Texas for last night's Slammiversary PPV. The company had 700 tickets sold in advance. I don't know how the audience came across on the PPV broadcast but the entire Dallas crowd was raucous and loud live.
We have a TON of photos from Slammiversary at Instagram.com/PWInsider.
The Santana injury deal was storyline, not a legit injury.
Rhino officially returned to the company tonight, well as officially as one can while wearing a mask.
Chae of the WCW Nitro Girls was in attendance at the event, visiting.
As previously reported by PWInsider.com, Bound for Glory will be at the Odeum in Villa Park, IL on Sunday 10/20. The company officially announced it with this video:
We heard from three different readers that when they arrived at the PPV, no one checked their tickets as they were walking in to insure they had actual tickets. Whatever Impact paid for security, I hope they get a refund on that deposit. File that under "things that happen when you don't use Atlas Security."
The pre-game show, which featured Jordynne Grace vs. Madison Rayne vs. Kiera Hogan, did not air on FITE.TV. They only carried the live PPV feed.
With Rafael Morfi finishing up with Impact tonight, expect his on-air character, reporter Rolondo Mendez, to be written off shortly on TV.
