So I have this weird vision of what's going to happen with MITB briefcase, Shane and the WWE championship. I keep reading that FOX wants Lesnar on Smackdown. There is a weird rumor that Shane is going to win the WWE championship. Also, the Brock Party was entertaining and gave Lesnar some face reaction.  Do you think it's possible Shane becomes WWE champion and surprise surprise Brock cashes in and becomes a face?

Honestly, the way that they have booked Sweat-O makes it seem like he has to win the Title at some point.  They are having him beat guys like Mix and Roman Reigns, which makes no sense unless they want to put the belt on him.  Now, that also makes no sense but when your dad is the booker, well you know.  I don’t know if Brock goes full on face, but if Shane wins, I would love to see Brock destroy him.  Then we have Brock with the Title again though, plus he would have never paid back Seth.  That is a lot of dangling and unfinished plot holes so knowing the way that Vince books, it’s probably exactly what will happen.

How do you see Bray Wyatt actually debuting in the ring? Will he be like Finn Balor and only use the Fiend for big matches or to end feuds as Finn uses the Demon on special occasions?

The way it seems now, Bray is trying to control his dark side.  I think it will be a constant struggle.  Then again, they may do a complete 180.  Given the way Vince books, anything is possible.

I have a two-fold question:  Considering WWE booking approach, do you foresee any legitimate possibility to turn Roman heel in the near future?   And if so, do you see the potential of a freshly turned heel Roman Reigns as a strong option to take the SDL title off of Kofi?

The only way I see that happening is if we just see Vince so something that makes no sense at all from a booking standpoint so of course that means sure, it’s possible.

Why is Smackdown so unimportant to WWE? This whole ‘wild card’ rule has seen literally every Smackdown top star be on RAW, yet The likes of Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar etc haven’t appeared on Smackdown?

It’s more a question of Raw being so important to USA.  They want to get their viewership numbers up and at this point, they don’t care about Smackdown since they are losing it in a few months.

Do you have an idea if AEW’s upcoming TV show will be strictly Wrestling? A lot of Tony Khan’s and Cody’s press releases have focused on how they will be sport based, but a 2 hour live show on tv also needs some dare I say it ‘sports entertainment’ alongside it to draw in casual viewers?

I think it’s safe to say that they know that they need to have more than just wrestling if they want to be a success.  They know that they will need angles and vignettes to set up matches.  And frankly, that is a big part of wrestling.  There is nothing wrong with having that on a show, unless it’s really badly written.
