Ric Flair's scheduled surgery today has been postponed due to medical complications, according to a statement issued by Flair's wife to TMZ.com.
The 70-year old former WWF, NWA and WCW World Champion was admitted to the hospital yesterday. TMZ originally reported Flair was rushed to the hospital due to a medical emergency. Flair's son-in-law Conrad Thompson later stated the situation was not as grave as the initial reporting and that the procedure was scheduled.
Update: Flair's wife Wendy Barlow has announced Flair's surgery is now scheduled for Monday:
