The Saturday 5/4 Impact Wrestling taping drew in the area of 450-500 fans, up from the first night's taping at the 2300 Arena, which saw quite a few fans get upgraded to ringside in order to make the TV shoot look better.
D'Lo Brown, Gail Kim, Petey Williams and Pat Buck (who just finished a run as Guest Coach at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando) worked as producers over the weekend TV tapings. Brown got really good reviews as a producer again.
David Adams was brought in as ring announcer for the tapings.
The Sandman made a cameo on last night's taping.
We are told Impact invested quite a bit of money in upgrading the technology for their Impact Plus streaming app, converting it over from the former GWN App. Subscribers of the former will have their accounts imported over to the new app.
Impact stars set for the 6/8 House of Hardcore/Impact Wrestling combined show in Philadelphia include Impact Champion Brian Cage, Johnny Impact, Taya Valkyrie, Rich Swann, Willie Mack, Moose and Eddie Edwards. As noted yesterday, The Great Muta will be working for the promotion for the first time since Bound for Glory 2014. There will be a convention earlier in the day with Muta and other stars appearing.
Mahabi Shera will return as soon as his work visa is finalized.

Impact heads to NYC tonight with "Code Red", which is being promoted in conjunction with Brian XL's House of Glory promotion, which has a TON of great, under the radar talents. PWInsider.com will have complete coverage of that evening Sunday evening:
