On 3/19, John Sepulveda, based in Rhode Island, applied to trademark 'Lethal Lottery ' for "G & S: Professional wrestling event and match type for use in sports entertainment. The match consists of randomized teams competing to advance in competition.

The Lethal Lottery concept was first used at WCW's Starrcade '91 as part of the Battle Bowl concept, which graduated to its own PPV in November 1993.

Interestingly, Cody, the son of Dusty Rhodes, filed a trademark on the Battlebowl name earlier this month.
