If you were Vince, would you punish Xavier Woods for tweeting about only knowing he had a match when he opened twitter? Because that speaks volumes on what Vince and creative think of their wrestlers, i mean, entertainers. And did you choke yourself when Vince said he was a pretty good judge of talent? I did!
If it were me, this is how I would handle it. First off, after getting a bit irked, I would think about what happened and realize that in a way, he was right. We did a lousy job of communicating and we should be better at it. We owe it to our talent to be as transparent as possible. We also owe it to them to treat them with respect and I would realize we failed there. Then I would call Xavier in for a meeting and tell him while he was right in what he said, next time bring the issue to management so we can work on improving how we do business. But, I am not Vince! And no, I would not choke myself for any reason. I like living!
Are they trying to catch lightning in a bottle the second time around with Kofi? What happened with Daniel Bryan was special and this time I think they're overdoing it with the gauntlet and all. I know Kofi deserves it but the storyline just isn't working for me. Your thoughts?
I hate the “we have to put a zillion obstacles in Kofi’s (and Becky’s) way storylines. They are so overdone and uninteresting. I am not saying that there shouldn’t be hurdles to overcome, but they should be good ones, not over the top ridiculous ones. They have made me care less about Kofi and Becky’s journey and that is just sad.
Has WWE announced the official main event yet or are we just hoping that the women will fill that role?
They haven’t made it official yet.
Do you know if Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch get along well out of character?
I haven’t heard of anyone having an issue with how Rousey has conducted herself.
Honestly, do you think Vince Russo is secretly working for WWE? Looking back at his WCW days, Russo was obsessed with angles that were basically "You guys all know that wrestling is a work, but this is real." The current HHH/Batista and "Ronda Rousey is shooting on everyone" angles would fit right in with Goldberg pretending to not go up for Nash's jackknife, Buff Bagwell "winning" a match that he said he was supposed to lose, Jeff Jarrett and Hulk Hogan laying down for Hogan and Sting (respectively, in separate PPVs), and on and on.
God, I know it seems that way (and that is not a good thing) but no, I think they are coming up with these bad booking ideas without the help of the all time king bad booker.
