Impact Wrestling announced that Madison Rayne has signed a multi-year deal to return to the company, just a week after she received a requested release from Ring of Honor.
As PWInsider.com first reported yesterday, Rayne requested a release over issues with her planned creative in the company. PWInsider.com is told that Rayne had pitched a number of ideas for herself but when the creative pitches ended up shot down, Rayne requested a release. ROH then offered an alternative idea, but Rayne turned down the creative and again asked for a release. The release was amicably granted.
Impact's announcement read:
