In regard to reports that WWE is working on bringing Dave Bautista back to the company, PWInsider.com can confirm that Bautista met with company officials last Thursday in Connecticut.
Bautista, 50, appeared last year at the Smackdown 1000 event, teasing a potential match against Triple H during a reunion of the old Evolution faction. With Triple H cleared to return to the ring, it would make sense to have that bout at Wrestlemania 35.
Bautista was just signed to be one of the top supportings role in the forthcoming feature film version of Dune, the classic science fiction novel, which reunites him with Blade Runner 2049 director Denis Villeneuve. The plan is to try and launch Dune into a feature film franchise with the first film tentatively slated to begin filming in March.
