WWE changed the main event of Wrestlemania 35 at the end of Monday Night Raw.
Just as Becky Lynch, who had her path to Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey cleared after apologizing for assaulting Triple H and Stephanie McMahon last week, faced off with Rousey, Vince McMahon walked out.
McMahon stated that Lynch believes she was larger than WWE and he wasn't going to accept her apology, instead suspending her for 60 days, stating the suspension would end 5 days after Wrestlemania 35.
McMahon then said that he needed a new opponent for Ronda, someone who knew her place and stayed in her lane, introducing Charlotte Flair.
McMahon then endorsed Flair, stating that at Wrestlemania, Rousey would see "this" and raised Flair's arm.
As of this moment, it's Flair vs. Rousey at Wrestlemania, setting the stage for a likely Triple Theat with Lynch once the current storyline runs its course.
Charlotte had been scheduled to appear on tonight's Smackdown Live event in Canton, Ohio, where she was to challenge Asuka for the Smackdown Women's Championship. Asuka defended against Sonya Deville instead at that event.
