Mustafa Ali has suffered a concussion and may be out of the Elimination Chamber PPV this Sunday, PWInsider.com can confirm.
Ali did work last night's Smackdown live event in Fort Wayne, Indiana, wrestling Samoa Joe.
There is no official word when the concussion may have been suffered. We are told Ali is being sat out of tonight's Smackdown live event in Canton, Ohio and will be reevaluated at tomorrow's Smackdown taping by WWE's medical team.
WWE is currently working on a potential replacement for Ali in the Elimination Chamber this Sunday should Ali not be cleared, but no decision will be made until at least tomorrow.
News of Ali being injured was initially reported by Fightful.com. PWInsider.com was able to independently confirm the nature of the injury.
