Luke Harper is slated to be at this week's WWE Smackdown taping in Toledo, Ohio, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
The former Smackdown Tag Team Champion has been off TV since last August after his partner Erick Rowan suffered a torn bicep during the Bludgeon Brothers' bout against The New Day at Summerslam 2018. That led to the team dropping the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship to The New Day during a Smackdown Live broadcast several days later in New York City. Rowan recently returned to Smackdown, where he has become an enforcer for WWE Champion Daniel Bryan.
While the team was off TV, Luke Harper was seen sporting a cast on his left hand and has been at the WWE Performance Center numerous times over the last month working towards his in-ring comeback.
