FOX ADDING THIRD HOUR TO SMACKDOWN?, THE OGZ IN ROH OR WWE, KENZO AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2019-01-26 10:00:00

Since Impact isn't using them, any chance of Homicide and Hernandez in WWE or Ring of Honor?

I'd like to think so.  Although they are getting older, I think their most recent run in Impact Wrestling was inspired and they did a great job at helping to establish LAX.  To me, if someone wants a great pair of heels who can work with anyone, they should hire the OGz.

Do you think Kenny Omega will be at the AEW ticket rally in Las Vegas?

We have been told his New Japan Pro Wrestling deal expires on 2/1, so he'd technically be a free agent and could appear there.  It makes sense.  It all depends on where he decides he wants to sign.

Whatever happened to Kenzo Suzuki?

He hasn't wrestled in the United States in years, but is extremely active in Japan under the name Kenso.  He's worked for Pro Wrestling NOAH, All Japan and other promotions over the last year.

What are the odds FOX adds a third hour to Smackdown when it moves there in October?

I don't know that's going to happen, because a lot of FOX affiliates have 10 PM newscasts, but I suppose there's always a possibility.  I just don't see it happening because they would have to move a lot of their localized programming.

Yesterday, I watched the Sting: Moment of Truth DVD from years ago.  How was it possible to have the footage from WCW in the movie when WWE clearly owns that footage after the purchase in 2001 and this was so many years before WWE brought Sting in.

I've never been able to get a clear answer on this, but my guess is they just went ahead and did it under the radar, believing that since it was religious-based film being produced for that reason, that WWE wouldn't raise an issue. As it turned out, they were right - and since that DVD is so old now, I doubt they ever would.  It has to be long out of print.

Where is WWE HQ?

The building commonly known as Titan Tower is at 1241 East Main Street in Stamford, CT.  You can identify it by the WWE flags that fly at the top of the building.  It is not open to the public and I wouldn't even bother trying to see if they would make an exception.  WWE has another building nearby where they house their TV production, but I don't know the address.  The Tower address has been publicly known for decades.
