Alexa Bliss announced during her segment tonight that the new Women's Tag Team Champions will be crowned at the Elimination Chamber PPV in Houston, Texas next month.
There will be three teams from each brand will battle inside the Elimination Chamber with the winner becoming the new champions.
It appears that those champions will represent both brands.
The new belts, when launched, will be the first Women's Tag Team Championships seen in WWE since the late 1980s when they were the centerpiece of a feud between The Jumping Bomb Angels, Noriyo Tateno and Itsuki Yamazaki and The Glamous Girls, Judy Martin and Lelani Kai, who battled over the belts in 1987 and 1988.
