Who is the smartest person in wrestling?

Wow, that is a wide open question and it depends on your criteria.  On the whole, I would have to say Triple H since he has excelled at all levels of the business in top fashion.  He was a main event wrestler, gone into management and also shown he is a great booker as well.  I fully believe that even if he hadn’t married into the family, he would still be in the position he is with WWE because of the drive he has and his love for the business.  On a talent level, I have to go with The Young Bucks.  They read the writing on the wall early and realized that their best chance to get over was to be on themselves and create a brand, and they did just that.  Even now, with All Elite Wrestling, whether it was planned or not they have allowed Cody Rhodes to be the public point man on the promotion.  If it’s a success, they can cite their integral part of the process.  If it fails, they are in the clear since they weren’t the ones pulling the strings.  I have a lot of respect for the acumen of the Bucks, just as I do Triple H.

Back during the "Divas Era," some episodes of RAW, SmackDown and the PPVs would have just one short women's match while there would be some episodes which would not have a women's match. These days, it's not unusual for episodes of RAW and SmackDown to have two or even three women's matches and they would be booked just as long as the men's matches. With that being said, do you feel that the WWE Women's Division has been overexposed as of late?

No, not at all.  It was just the opposite, the women weren’t used properly back then.

If Ronda Rousey hadn’t been this good, do you think they still would have put the Title on her?

She is a big name talent.  I think that as long as she was competent, they would have given her a run due to her celebrity.  She brings outside eyes onto WWE and that is valuable.  Luckily, it turns out she is a prodigy.  We got lucky.

So, how long until Vince - or Triple H and Steph - turn the Women's division into its own touring brand?

I don’t see it happening any time soon.  The current house shows aren’t doing great business, which Vince McMahon stated on the last investors conference call.  It would make no sense to do it now.

Is Shane McMahon still being paid as only a talent, or is back to helping run things?

Last I heard, he was still on a talent contract.  Obviously, due to his name and ownership position he can make suggestions whenever he wants to.
