WWE TURNING INTO WCW, WHY WE DON’T GET EXPLANATIONS, WWE AT CROWN JEWEL AND MORE

This is a two part question. The first is about Roman Reigns. WWE finally had a chance to get him on the good side of the audience when they, in large part, booed Lesnar at Summerslam because they knew he was exiting. Instead, they (to me, at least), hot-shotted a Shield reunion so that Reigns would receive a positive reaction. However, it's against Brawn Strowman, who much more over with the crowd. Why would they do this disservice to Reigns? They are once again putting him in a position to get a negative reaction.

Look at the way WWE books a lot of their product.  That will answer your question.

The second part is the Shield reunion. It came out of nowhere and with all the history (the reunion hasn't been explained as of today), why do it with no rhyme or reason? I still don't think we've gotten an explanation of why Dean Ambrose came back to help Rollins in the first place.

See above.  Seriously, WWE doesn’t feel the need to make storylines cohesive or explain things in detail.  It’s sad, but true.

Last summer you posted a trailer for a documentary (I believe it was from Highspots) about Championship Wrestling From Florida. Has the documentary ever been released?

Highspots.com is still working on it.  It will be out soon.  I am really looking forward to it.

With the return of Shawn Michaels, HHH, UT and Kane isn’t the WWE repeating the Huckster and Nacho Man mocking that happened twenty years ago?

You know, I never really thought about it but yes sir, you are correct.  Back when the WWF was going after WCW, they made the point of saying WCW was being led by older guys and going back to the well.  WWE has done that at WrestleMania every year for a while now.  So while it’s not an exact comparison a case can definitely be made.

WWE airing the 'Crown Jewel' vignette at 'Evolution', and cutting the feed moments in, amidst a wave of boos. Are they consciously tone deaf/apathetic?

Had they gone to Saudi Arabia and put over the Prince and the progress that the country has made, yes I would say that.  But at the time of Evolution, they had made the decision to go through with the show and they needed to promote it, possibly even having to as part of the deal with the Kingdom.  Given that the controversy came up so close to the event, they were in a rough posiiton.  They could have canceled it and faced legal repercussions, plus not met the guidance that they have given to Wall Street.  Or they could go through with and get flack.  So this time, I will give them a pass.  In the future?  We shall see.
