Ring of Honor has hired former WWE Creative team member Kevin Eck full-time going forward. Eck had been working on material for the ROH website and other content on a part-time basis.
Matt Winchester aka Beer City Bruiser noted the following on his Facebook page on 12/3: "Excited to share what I have in store for 2019 after my contract expires Dec. 31!" One would think that would mean Winchester is departing but there's always a chance his deal will expire and he'll keep working for the company on a nightly basis, which we've heard is a possibility for some of the deals that are expiring at the end of the year. There was talk a few months ago that WWE had interest in Winchester.
As we have noted, Ring of Honor will be hosting a Toys for Tots drive next Friday at the Final Battle PPV in NYC. If you are attending, PLEASE bring a new, unwrapped toy. With Toys R Us having gone out of business, the charity has lost one of its top annual donors, so if you can help in some way, please do so. Thanks.
By the way, if you haven't seen the Pinnacle digital series, you should go out of your way to do so. It is a great jumping on point for the promotion as it really provides a mission statement for what ROH is and why the Final Battle event is so important. If I was ROH, I'd incorporate the first two episodes into their TV ASAP to push the PPV.
PCO issued the following apology after he pulled out on a number of independent dates after signing with ROH:

Brandi Rhodes will challenge Women of Honor Champion Sumie Sakai at the 12/15 ROH TV taping in Philadelphia, PA. If there's a title change at Final Battle, she'll challenge the new champion. One would think this is Rhodes' final appearance for the company.
