Drake Maverick runs through the card for tonight. Noam Dar will face Mike Kanellis in the opening match. Hideo Itami will return to 205 Live tonight. In the main event, Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali will face Tony Nese and the Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy. Murphy and Nese have dominated 205 Live since Buddy's win, but Ali and Alexander are two of Buddy's biggest challengers.
We are in Minneapolis, Minnesota and your announcers are Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, and Percy Watson.
Match Number One: Noam Dar versus Mike Kanellis (with Maria Kanellis)
They lock up and Kanellis messes with Dar's hair on the break and he blows a kiss to Maria but Dar waves at Maria. Dar with a wrist lock and waist lock. Dar with an elbow. Dar with a kick to Kanellis and he goes to the floor while Dar continues to wave at Maria. Kanellis with a kick and he sends Dar into the announce table. Dar sends Kanellis into the announce table. Maria distracts Dar to allow Mike to hit Dar from behind. Kanellis with a suplex on the floor.
They return to the ring and Mike gets a near fall. Kanellis with a rear chin lock. Kanellis with a knee to the midsection. Dar with a kick to Kanellis. Dar with a drop kick. Dar with a double thrust to the throat followed by a European uppercut. Dar with a running forearm into the corner followed by a suplex attempt but Kanellis blocks it and he hits a spinebuster.
The music for the Lucha House Party plays and we see Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik. Kalisto with a kick to Kanellis and Dar with the Nova Roller and he gets the three count.
Winner: Noam Dar
We go to Brian Kendrick and Akira Tozawa in the back. Tozawa tries to motivate Kendrick to be more aggressive and Tozawa feels he has done his job.
Drew Gulak says they thought Brian Kendrick was an ally or a friend. Then something changed and you became pitiful. Jack calls Kendrick useless. Drew says he would feel the same way if he saw a homeless Leonardo DiCaprio every morning. Drew says he will put Kendrick out of his misery. Next week, when you step to him, you will tap out.
Buddy Murphy and Tony Nese talk in the back as we go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Hideo Itami versus Levy Cruise
Itami with a boot to Cruise's head and he demands respect. Itami with a knee to the midsection and a kick. Itami drops Cruise on the top rope and kicks him. Itami goes up top and hits a knee to the back of the head. Itami with strikes and a spinning back fist. Itami with a hesitation drop kick into the corner. Itami with a spinning cutter for the three count.
Winner: Hideo Itami
After the match, Itami attacks Cruise and punches him.
The music for Ariya Daivari plays and he makes his way to the ring.
Daivari looks like he is going to square off with Itami but Daivari attacks Cruise. Daivari tells Itami to hit Cruise and Itami with a boot to the head.
Daivari says he respects Itami and he offers his hand. Itami shakes it.
TJP tells Drake Maverick he is the greatest technical wrestler and the first Cruiserweight Champion and he wants to know why he is not the next challenger. Drake says Gran Metalik beat him last week. TJP says that Drake's problem is on Raw.
Maria and Mike Kanellis want to finish Lucha House Party and they want TJP to join them.
TJP says he should move on to better things.
Maria reminds TJP of the favor they did for him and they are in this together.
TJP says he is in.
Drake says he will consider it and then he tells them to leave.
Maria says they don't want any match, she wants to embarrass them. She wants a tag team tornado match.
Drake says the match will happen. They will face the Lucha House Party.
We see Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali in the locker room as they get ready for their match.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Three: Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali versus Tony Nese and Buddy Murphy
Alexander and Nese start things off. They lock up and Nese backs Alexander into the corner and gives a clean break. Alexander with a wrist lock and Nese with a reversal. Alexander with a single leg take down and a waist lock. Nese with a back elbow and he goes for a moonsault but Alexander moves. Alexander blocks a kick and hits a handstand head scissors followed by a drop kick for a near fall.
Ali tags in and Alexander with a drop kick to the knees and Ali with a drop kick to the temples and he gets a near fall. Nese backs Ali into the corner and Murphy tags in. Murphy kicks Ali. Ali with a head scissors and a drop kick. Alexander tags in and Murphy tags Nese in. Alexander iwth forearms and a back heel kick. Murphy distracts Alexander but Alexander with a drop kick to the knees and an enzuigiri. Alexander gets a near fall. Murphy tags in and Alexander continues to deal with Nese. Murphy with a knee for a near fall. Murphy sends Alexander into the turnbuckles and Nese tags in.
Nese with a snap mare and kick to the back. Nese with a body scissors. Nese keeps Alexander from making the tag and Murphy tags bck in and they goe for a doubel belly-to-back suplex. Alexander kicks Murphy into Nese and he makes the tag. Ali with a double cross body and elbows. Ali goes to the apron and hits a round kick. Ali with a rolling X Factor and then he goes to the turnbuckles for a sunset flip into a sit out power bomb for a near fall.
Murphy sends Ali into teh turnbuckles face first. Ali with an elbow and he goes to the turnbuckles for a tornado DDT but Murphy catches Ali. Ali escapes and Murphy with an elbow and he kicks Ali through the ropes to the floor. Nese makes the tag and he stands ove Ali. Nese sends Ali back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Nese kicks Ali and he has something to say to Alexander. Nese kicks Ali and he tags Murphy in as Nese stands on Ali's hair. Murphy with a kick to the back and he gets a near fall. Murphy with a forearm. Murphy with a boot to Ali. Murphy goes for a suplex but Ali with an an inside cradle for a near fall.
Murphy with a clothesline and he gets a near fall. Nese tags back in and they Irish whip Ali but Ali sends Murphy to the apron and Ali sends Nese into Murphy. Ali sends Murphy to the floor again and Murphy pulls Alexander off the apron to prevent the tag. Nese with a running back elbow to Ali and he gets a near fall. Murphy tags in and he kicks Ali. Murphy with a back heel kick and knee. Ali avoids a kick and hits a spinning heel kick. Murphy is between Ali and his corner to make it more difficult for Ali to make the tag. Nese and Alexander tag in and Alexander with clotheslines and a back elbow to the head. Alexander kicks Murphy off the apron.
Alexander with a slingshot flatliner for a near fall. Alexander goes to the apron and Murphy tries to interfere. Alexander goes for a springboard move but Nese with an uppercut. Murphy tags in and Nese gets Alexander on his shoulders. Alexander sends Nese into the turnbuckles and Murphy is crotched. Ali tags in and they set for a double Spanish Fly on Murphy but Murphy and Ali go to the floor. Alexander kicks Nese to the floor and then he hits a plancha onto Nese.
Ali and Murphy return to the ring and Murphy with a jumping knee and then he sets for Murphy's Law but Ali escapes and gets a near fall with a rollup. Ali with a tornado DDT and Alexander with Lumbar Check to Murphy for the three count.
Winners: Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali
