The word making the rounds is that Tom Lawlor broke his hand during his MMA fight against Deron Winn duirng last night's Chuck Liddell vs. Tito Ortiz 3 PPV in California. Lawlor lost via judges' decision after three rounds of action.
There is no word yet on the severity of the injury, nor whether it will require time off from being in the ring.
Lawlor is slated to appear at MLW's December tapings in Miami. Those tapings will probably require some creative changes due to Rey Fenix suffering a groin injury in Mexico over the weekend that will require him to take off the rest of the year to heal.
Lawlor will challenge MLW Champion Low Ki in the main event of the 2/3 MLW Superfight event at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA. Tickets for that event will go on sale this Monday.
