SMALLER BROCK, MIZ TURN, AJ LOSING THE BELT AND MORE

We know that Brock Lesnar has re-entered the UFC's drug testing pool in anticipation of a future title fight.  Is it just me, or does Lesnar look smaller since his return at Crown Jewel?  Coincidence or no?

No, it’s not a coincidence, but it’s not for the reason you seem to be implying.  The fact of the matter is, fighters need to be leaner than pro wrestlers.  Brock can take breaks as a wrestler.  In a fight, he can’t.  So, he has to tone down his size and up his cardio.  That makes a person smaller.

Did they tease a Miz face turn with Randy Orton hitting the RKO? Miz didn’t want his injury to pull him from the World Cup, which is a face move. He got attacked by a heel. His main nemesis, Daniel Bryan, just turned heel and he has a real opportunity to show true leadership in the Survivor Series. Could we see a reversal of roles with Miz being pushed to take the title from a heel Daniel Bryan at Wrestlemania?

I am typing this on Saturday due to the busy weekend and travel next week but it sure seems like they are starting a turn for him.  Plus, with Bryan as a heel now I could see him coming for revenge on Miz, thus cementing a turn.  It will be interesting to see how Miz works as a face, if they turn him.

Did the WWE drop the ball on the rushed title change?  They could have had Paul Heyman suggest a little fear of AJ Styles because he came closer to beating Brock Lesnar than anyone thought he could. This would have built up AJ Styles a bit. Then Heyman could have caused that same rift between AJ and Bryan because he thinks Bryan is a broken man with no killer instinct after returning from injury. Bryan turns heel, wins the title and demonstrates a killer instinct to show Heyman that he should have been careful what he wished for. It still is a little rushed but would feel more plausible than what they went with. That didn’t help in any way. There is no story going into Sunday at all. And AJ didn’t come out strong at all.

Honestly?  It’s par for the course with how they book most of the time.  Long term stories and subtlety usually isn’t the case with WWE.  Also, much of what happens there is a last minute decision.  So, we get things like what we saw last week on Smackdown.

What’s with people wanting to low blow AJ Styles so much? Will that be his gimmick going forward?

Me?  I call it lazy booking.  But in this case, at least Bryan knew it worked in the past!

Why did WWE change the main event match for Survivor Series?

The prevailing theory is that they didn’t want AJ Styles to lose to Brock Lesnar again.
