NICK GAGE VS. BRODY KING, DJ Z VS. FACADE & MORE: COMPLETE GCW VS. SUBURBAN WRESTLING COVERAGE FROM LOS ANGELES

By Mike Johnson on 2018-11-17 03:00:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's coverage of Game Changer Wrestling vs. Suburban Wrestling from Los Angeles!

The theme of the show is “No ring.  No rules.”  Obviously, there is no wrestling ring.  They are facing off on the concrete floor, surrounded by fans who are standing around them.  So, it’s like fighting in a mosh pit with Falls Counting Anywhere.

OK, let’s see how this goes!

KTB vs. Jimmy Lloyd vs. Koto Hiro vs.  Tony Deppen

Everyone battled.  Deppen leapt off a stage with a knee strike to KTB as he was about to slam Hiro onto it.  Hiro hit a rana off the stage on Deppen, which the audience loved.  That got him a two count.  Lloyd attacked them.  They all tossed each other into walls.  KTB hit a sideslam through several chairs.   Lloyd was nailed with a trash can.  Deepen climbed atop the sound system area and nailed a double stomp.   Hiro attacked him and tossed him into the wall of the booth.  Deppen was backdropped onto the stage.  Hiro nailed rana that sent KTB flying off the stage.  Lloyd hit a piledriver on a stage onto Hiro.

Deppen was tossed off the stage through a chair on the floor.  Lloyd was sent off the stage through a chair.  A door was passed over to the fighting area, where it was set up and bridged across several chairs.  Hiro met Lloyd on the stage and nailed a series of kicks.  He went for a suplex but Lloyd overpowered him and nailed a Jay Driller off the stage through the door, which was insane.  Lloyd scored the pin.

Your winner, Jimmy Lloyd!

OK, this is just a weird scene.  The announcers can't see what's really going on.  Just all over the place brawling and spots off the environment.  It's well, weird.

DJ Z vs. Facade.

They faced off and it turned into a back and forth chopfest early on.  They battled towards the bar.  Facade was s,ent into the bar.  DJ Z went atop the bar and danced like Pee Wee Herman.  Facade took him down and worked him over on the floor.  Facade took a drink and spewed it in DJ Z's face.    They battled towards the front door of the venue.  Facade nailed a slingshot into a photo booth machine.  Z slammed him into it, then hit a flying bodypress off of the photo booth.  There's a sentence I never imagined writing.  Z scored a two count.

They battled back towards the initial fight staging area.  Facade nailed him and found a circular table, then challenged DJ Z to go over the top, as in the arm-wrestling movie starring Sylvester Stallone.  Facade's valet then demanded to do the arm-wrestling and faced off with Z.  Z almost had her beat but she fought back...but before there was a conclusive finish, Facade superkicked Z,  Z staggered into a chair, where Facade choked him and chopped him.

Facade charged Z, who was sitting in a chair but was kicked.  Facade was placed in the seat and chopped in the chest.  Z let the fans whip him into Facade, hitting a flying bodypress across the chair for a two count.  Z was slammed into the stage.  Facade leapt on the stage and kicked him but was grabbed and pulled down to the floor.  Z whipped him towards a wall but Facade kicked off the wall and turned it into a punch.  They continued going back and forth.

Z climbed to the top of the sound system area and dove off, hitting a tornado DDT for a two count.  DJ Z went for a superkick Facade, who ducked and accidentally took out Facade's valet.  Facade grabbed him and nailed a DVDR through several chairs but Z kicked out at the last second.  Facade climbed up to the rafters and dove off with a senton, wiping out DJ Z and some others who were "assisting" Z up, then scored the pin.

Your winner, Facade!

This was a fun brawl that allowed them to use the bar environment to the best of their ability.  They really tried to be creative here.

Facade and Z showed each other respect.

One of the others who were "assisting" Z ended up getting knocked down hard to the floor during the ending spot and needed to be carried off on a makeshift stretcher.

They announced Marko Stunt vs. Penelope Ford has been postponed.  The crowd booed that.  They noted Stunt was rushed to the hospital.

GCW Champion Nick Gage vs. Brody King

They just began slugging it out and battled across the venue to the bar with everyone swirling around them.  They battled over to the bar and kitchen area.  KIng grabbed a trash can and smashed it into Gage's face.  Gage nailed a series of right hands.  Gage smashed the trash can over him. Gage went under a billiard table and pulled out a door but was nailed by King.  The lighting fixture above the billiard table began swinging and all the fans grabbed it to save it.

King nrought the door to the sound system area.  They battled back and forth until King kicked Gage into it, then hit a cannonball, smashing Gage through the door.  King began setting up a group of white folding chairs.  Fans began passing the chairs towards King.  Gage met him and they battled back and forth with strikes and slaps.  Gage ripped at King's eye.  He smashed a piece of the broken door over King's back.  King went for a powerbomb but Gage escaped and nailed a DVDR through the chairs for the pin.

Your winner and still GCW Champion, Nick Gage!

A solid, fun brawl.

The show ended with Gage among the people saying he was the "leader of this f***ing sh**."

Well, this may have been one of the weirdest shows I ever covered, but it was different and that's always a good thing.
