We start off with a recap of the Who Attacked Aleister Black drama from this summer and the reveal from last week that it was Johnny Gargano.
We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Vic Joseph, Nigel McGuinness, and Percy Watson.
Match Number One: Nikki Cross versus Mercedes Martinez
They lock up and Martinez with a single leg take down but Cross gets away. They lock up and Martinez with a wrist lock and she works on the shoulder with a hammer lock. Nikki with a fireman's carry and she slams Martinez' head into the mat before applying an arm bar. Martinez with a package brainbuster into a front face lock. Martinez with a waist lock but Cross with a sleeper and she gets on Martinez' back. Martinez backs Cross into the corner to escape. Martinez runs into a boot but Martinez pulls Cross off the turnbuckles. Martinez with a boot to the midsection and another boot.
Martinez with elbows to the head and a guillotine with the leg trapped. Martinez with forearms and a punch to Cross. Martinez waits for Cross to get back to her feet but Cross blocks a forearm and connects with forearms of her own. Cross with clotheslines and a splash into the corner. Cross with a bulldog. Cross goes to the turnbuckles and hits a cross body for a near fall. Cross is bleeding from the nose and she goes for the swinging suplex but Martinez counters and hits a spinebuster. Martinez with a Saito suplex and hits a second one. Martinez with a German suplex.
Martinez with a running boot to Cross and she sets for a fisherman's buster but Cross blocks it and hits a cross arm neck breaker and both women are down. Cross with a jaw breaker and DDT. Cross with The Purge for the three count.
Winner: Nikki Cross
After the match, Cross tells Martinez that was fun and Martinez isn't really sure what to make of that.
Candice LeRae makes her way to the ring and she asks Nikki why. Candice says this isn't funny while Nikki laughs and leaves the ring. Candice tells Nikki this isn't a game, this is their lives.
Nikki gets ready to go to the back but she stops when she sees Aleister Black. Nikki backs up and goes to the back from the other side of the stage.
Black makes his way to the ring to confront the wife of the man who attacked him.
Candice walks up to Black and Black asks where is Johnny and she says that he is not here. Black tells Candice that his career in NXT is gone.
Black leaves the ring.
We see footage from a match between The Street Profits and The Mighty from last month.

Match Number Two: Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins versus Shane Thorne and Nick Miller
Dawkins and Thorne start things off. Dawkins suggests a punch and Thorne falls to the mat. Dawkins blocks a kick and sends Thorne into the corner. Dawkins with punches in the corner. The referee warns Dawkins and Thorne with a boot but Dawkins with a shoulder tackle to Thorne and Miller. Thorne with a drop toe hold that sends Dawkins into the turnbuckles. Miller tags in and he chops Dawkins. Dawkins with a flapjack and Ford tags in. Dawkins with a punch and Ford with a forearm. Ford drop kicks Thorne and then he kicks Thorne and miller. Ford with a double drop kick.
Ford and Dawkins clothesline Thorne and Miller over the top rope and Ford with a plancha onto Miller and Thorne. Ford sends Miller back into the ring and Thorne tries to stop Ford. Ford flips into the ring and Miller with a spinebuster for a near fall. Miller sends Ford into the turnbuckles and tags Thorne in and they hit a double side Russian leg sweep. Thorne kicks Ford and Miller with a clothesline to allow Thorne to get a near fall.
Thorne kicks Ford and chops him in the ropes. Thorne with forearms and a kick to the head. Ford with punches to get out of the corner but Thorne with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall. Thorne works on the neck and applies a rear chin lock. Thorne with a head butt and Ford with an elbow to Miller on the apron. Thorne keeps Ford from making the tag. Thorne with a cross leg jackknife cover for a near fall. Thorne knocks Dawkins of the apron. Ford lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex and Ford leaps over Thorne to tag in Dawkins. Dawkins with a drop kick and punches to Thorne. Miller hits Thorne in the corner. Dawkins with a hot shot and bulldog to Miller. Dawkins with a punch to Thorne for a near fall.
Miller is sent to the floor and Dawkins with a corkscrew splash into the corner. Thorne with a rana to Dawkins and Thorne punches Ford on the turnbuckles. Miller gets Thorne on his shoulders to give Ford a superplex out of a tower of doom. Dawkins makes the save and hits Sky High on Miller. Thorne with a forearm to send Dawkins to the floor. Ford with a kick to Thorne and Ford with a frog splash for the three count.
Winners: Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford
William Regal is in the back and he is asked about Takeover. William says he has a few things to announce. Tommaso Ciampa will defend the NXT Men's Championship against Velveteen Dream.
Aleister Black wants to know where Johnny is and Regal says that he told Johnny to stay home this week. Black will have his pound of flesh against Johnny at War Games. Black says that Gargano's career in NXT will fade to black.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Lars Sullivan is throwing chairs and other equipment since he is not getting an NXT Men's Title match. He says that championship match is his, not Velveteen Dream's. He says he will rip him in half before War Games and take his spot.
Match Number Three: Matt Riddle versus Luke Menzies
Riddle with a single leg but Menzies gets to the ropes. Menzies with a front face lock but they go to a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock. Menzies pulls Riddle over but Riddle with a cross arm breaker and Menzies gets a near fall when he rolls Riddle up. They shake hands but Menzies with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Riddle with kicks to the chest. Riddle with a running forearm into the corner and he misses a second one when Menzies moves. Menzies traps the arms and gives Riddle a head butt and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall.
Menzies with a European uppercut in the corner and he snap mares Riddle and applies a reverse chin lock. Riddle with punches and strikes followed by a boot and a falling kick. Riddle misses a moonsault but he lands on his feet and he hits a back senton. Riddle with a running kick and a knee to the head. Riddle with elbows to the chest and then he applies the Bromission and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Matt Riddle
We take a look at footage from Evolution when Shayna Baszler regained the NXT Championship thanks to some help from Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir.
We go to comments from the new champion along with Marina and Jessamyn. Shayna is asked if this is redemption. Shayna says Kairi did not beat her that last time, she lost the match.
Kairi Sane is held back from Shayna.

We are back and Lacey Evans will be on NXT next week. Lars Sullivan will face Velveteen Dream as well.
Match Number Four: Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan versus Raul Mendoza and Humberto Carrillo
Burch and Mendoza start things off and they lock up. Burch with a wrist lock and Mendoza uses the ropes to reverse the hold. Mendoza floats over in the corner and Mendoza avoids a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and lands on his feet. Mendoza with a drop kick and then Carrillo tags in. Burch with European uppercuts and he tags in Lorcan. Lorcan with a chop and arm bar. Burch tags in and works on the arm. Lorcan with another tag and Carrillo with a double arm drag take down. Carrillo with a springboard arm drag to Lorcan. Mendoza and Carrillo with stereo suicide dives.
Carrillo gets Lorcan on his shoulders for an Accordion Slam. Carrillo goes for a moonsault but Lorcan gets his feet up. Lorcan with a running European uppercut. Burch tags in and hits an enzuigiri. Mendoza tags in and he chops Burch. Mendoza with a round kick to both men. Mendoza with a springboard double drop kick. Mendoza with a running enzuigiri but Burch with a hip toss into the turnbuckles. Lorcan with a running boot to Carrillo. They hit the elevated spike DDT for the three count.
Winners: Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan
Roderick Strong he is feeling great because they are on top of the world. They are happy that Bobby Fish is back and they are ready for their match against War Raiders.
Hanson and Raymond Rowe attack Cole from behind and then he sends Fish into a storage case. Hanson and Rowe attack Kyle and Strong as well. Cole is sent into the wall. They fight outside and Hanson and Rowe lawn dart Cole into the door of the truck. Fish is thrown over tables in the courtyard. Hanson slams Kyle onto a table but Strong hits him and Rowe with a trash can. Cole hits Rowe with a trash can lid. Strong hits Rowe while Cole takes care of Hanson. Ricochet comes out to help Rowe and Hanson with a cross body off a table. Ricochet goes after Cole and punches him. They go back and forth and Cole sends Ricochet into guardrails.
Hanson picks up Fish and runs him into the truck bay. Kyle runs into it when Hanson moves.
Rowe and Strong make their way into the arena and he sends Strong into the bleachers. Strong is bieled into the ringside area by Rowe and Rowe with a forearm. Ricochet and Cole join the action in the building. They make their way into the ring. Fish hits Hanson in the knee with a chair and Strong with a jumping knee to Rowe. Cole with a super kick to Ricochet. The Undisputed Era attack War Raiders and Ricochet.
Pete Dunne's music plays and he hits Cole with a chair. HE does the same to Kyle. Ricochet clotheslines Strong while Rowe hits a uranage on Fish.
William Regal comes out and says that this is not how this fight is going to happen. If you are hell bent on destroying each other, you will meet at Takeover in War Games.
