WILL SASHA & ALEXA MISS EVOLUTION, BEST WRESTLER OVER 53 YEARS OLD, MADUSA AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2018-09-22 10:00:00

I was wondering how you felt about podcasts like Eric Bischoff and Bruce Prichard responding to reporting and comments made about them back in the day?

I don't have an issue with it.  If someone is going to write something, it certainly goes out into the public realm at that point, which means it can and should be held up to critique and if some of the subjects wish to respond to what was written, whether in the moment when it was written or later on, it's certainly their right to do so.

What is the best wrestling match with a wrestler over the age of 53 that does not include Shawn Michaels?

Off the top of my head, I think of Terry Funk.  I've seen lots of great Terry Funk performance well beyond that age.  His three-way bout with Sandman and Stevie Richards at Barely Legal.  He had an amazing bout with Mick Foley on Raw in 1998.  There's the Dumpster Match against The New Age Outlaws at Wrestlemania XIV.  I am sure there are lots of others.

Kane is gonna be on Undertaker's corner in Australia but on the other side of things, he has public service job of Mayor of Knox County, TN? Isn't there a conflict of interest, here? I won't be surprised if Glenn Jacobs gets a ton of heat for this.

Well, WWE just made a $100,000 donation to that local area, so I would think that heat has already been extinguished.

What are your all-time favorite championship belts? The Winged-Eagle WWF Championship belt and the NWA Big Gold Belt World Title are among my favorites.

I always had a personal affinity for the "Big Gold" title as well as the WWF Intercontinental Championship belt that Randy Savage and Ricky Steamboat battled over.  Obviously, the ECW World Championship belts, both the original and the second version, I liked as well.

Do these Sasha and Alexa injuries mean they are going to miss WWE Evolution?

I haven't heard that definitively, but I certainly hope not.  I think the last thing any performer wants is to miss on a big show, especially one that they had a hand in setting the stage for.

Any word on Madusa wrestling on the WWE Evolution PPV?

I haven't heard that she would be wrestling on the show, but would be shocked if they didn't have her involved in the show in some capacity.
