SABU AND WWE, WHY WWE ALWAYS SENDS WWE CHAMPIONSHIP REPLICAS TO WINNING SPORTS TEAMS, 205 TALENTS ON RAW & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2018-09-27 10:00:00

Where's Sabu and why hasn't he ever made a WWE return?

Sabu is still out there working independents, even after a hip replacement surgery. He had a tumultous WWE run where he pretty much got himself released (which at the time, is what he wanted) and WWE has never really had any interest in bringing him back.  I have always liked Sabu but he prefers to do what he wants, good and bad, and that doesn't jibe with what WWE expects of their talents.

Any time a sports team wins a championship, I've noticed Triple H tweets out the SmackDown's WWE Championship with the team's logo on the side plates. If WWE considers RAW'S Universal Championship to be more superior why haven't they sent those out to the teams? It's a weird question but it made me wonder.

It's probably because the WWE Championship is the longest running belt that the company has.  I don't think there's any other deeper meaning, but I'd like to think it's because the WWE title is the most important belt they have, even if they don't always treat it as such!

I asked last week about gulak being in the shield beat down, related to drake maverick being aop manager, and you said dont look too far into it. Now this week lio rush is paired with lashley.  Are they just phasing 205 guys into management roles?

We are told it's just that the talents are being tapped for roles on Raw.  It will be interesting to see whether it has any greater effect on 205 Live overall, but we haven't heard that this is step one in phasing out that brand or anything that would be considered a negative.

When Shawn Michels lost his smile and Stone Cold took his ball and went home did they still get paid?

Michaels was as he was still with the company, but believed (or so he claimed) that he was done as an in-ring performer.  Austin has made it clear that when he walked out, WWE stopped paying him and that a big part of the reason he came back was, as he commented, "There are these things called bills and they keep showing up at your door."

Austin Aries the Vegan: work?

Not to the best of my knowledge, no.  He's written an entire book about the subject.
