MAVERICK INSTEAD OF ELLERING, GULAK'S TRIBUTE ON RAW, WHY NOT REUNITE THE WYATTS AND KORE

When the Authors of Pain debuted on Raw, they immediately split them from Paul Ellering. Then they promptly faded into obscurity. Now they suddenly are managed by Drake Maverick. Dare I ask, what gives?  No disrespect to Drake. He is an awesome character.  However, Ellering was a part of what made AOP great in the first place. I just don’t get it. Your thoughts or insight?

WWE obviously didn't want to send Paul Ellering on the road full-time.  I thought it was a poor decision at the time and still do, but Drake Maverick is a great talker and plays a great outside of the ring antagonist, as anyone who saw his work in Impact as Rockstar Spud can tell you.

Hi guys was wondering,  I enjoy watching Drew McIntyre as well as Dolph Ziggler get the spotlight as part of a faction with Braun Strowman vs The Shield. Wouldn't it have made better sense to reunite Braun with Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper and have the Wyatts feud with The Shield with Braun taking the Lead?

I actually tossed that reunion scenario out a week ago on an episode of the We Don't Need No Stinkin' Name Show in the PWInsider.com Elite section.  My guess is that WWE felt that would have felt like something that wouldn't be fresh.  Instead, they wanted to add some additional juice to McIntyre and Ziggler.  It certainly appeared to have been the right choice this week.

Should the fans expect limited involvement from Maryse at Hell in the Cell? She is obviously not in shape yet and did limited work in her last match at mania. For that matter why not wait till Survivor Series?

A little compassion would be nice.  First of all, Maryse had her first child five months ago and just returned to WWE TV a few weeks ago.  It's completely unfair to claim she is "not in shape."  She underwent a c-section which means her body had to go through a LOT of healing in recent months.  Plus, when it comes to Maryse wrestling Brie, I don't think anyone is expecting them to replicate Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat in the ring, nor should they.  Given the personal nature of the issue between the two sides, it should be more of a brawl.  Don't assume anything until you've seen the match, because what goes on in the ring, from an athletic nature and from a character standpoint, all depends on what the company wants for the match.  There are four people involved in the match, so technically, they will all have limited involvement in the match, since at some point, they WILL have to tag out.  The way you phrased your question really came off callous to me and wasn't fair to Maryse as a person at all.

Didnt get to watch raw but read your live report. Drake Maverick's role was explained, but why was Drew Gulak there? No other 205 guy was involved. I dont remember any recent mention of him just moving to Raw either.

They basically sent every heel they had out there and Gulak was booked to be at the taping as Cruisers sometimes work the Main Event taping prior to Raw going on the air.  I wouldn't read too much into it.  I don't expect WWE to give an explanation,

Why did Gulak have HATRED written on the tape on his wrists on Monday?

It was a tribute to the late Nate Hatred, a CZW and Big Japan star from the 2000s who passed away in a car accident a few days ago.  Gulak worked with him on the independents.

What are the chances of Nikki and Bree Bella returning to the ring this year?

Given that you sent this on Friday, four days after WWE announced they would be wrestling on Raw, you tell me.
