By Mike Johnson on 2018-08-16 16:22:00

Welcome to PWInsider.com's coverage of Night One of the Ring of Honor Honor Reunited tour from Edingburgh, Scotland!

So Cal Val welcomed everyone watching on FITE.

Your announcers are Ian Riccaboni and Colt Cabana.

ROH International Cup: Mark Haskins vs. Jonathan Gresham.

Some very good back and forth wrestling in this one.  Haskins nailed a nice Soldier's Carry for a two count.   Haskins looked really smooth in his transitions and meshed well with Gresham.  He nailed a double stomp off the top for a close near fall.  Haskins went for a move but Gresham went into a series of transitions before scoring a two count.  Gresham hit a rana and turned him over into another two count.    Gresham scored a series of two counts with different takedowns.  It began to get heated as they exchanged kicks to the legs, then forearms.  Haskins finally scored the win with a submission hold.  Very good opener!

Your winners, Mark Haskins!

ROH International Cup: Flip Gordon vs. Kip Sabian.

Some aggressive action early on with Gordon controlling and scoring several two counts.  Gordon nailed a handstand into a rana.  Gordon hit Sabian with a dropkick.  He went for another but faced out Sabian, then hit another.    Sabian snapped his neck across the ropes, then kicked him off the apron with Gordon flipping off the apron as he crashed to the floor.  That looked impressive.  Sabian worked him over and tossed him back in.    Sabian hit a nice springboard dropkick into the ring for a two count.  He nailed a nice rolling snapmare on Gordon, then rebounded with a great clothesline for another near fall.  He began tying up Gordon with some really impressive submissions.  Gordon made a comeback, cutting him off on the top and nailed a great leaping kick.  Sabian was sent to the floor, setting up a nice pescado to the floor.  Some nice near falls.  Gordon went to the top but was caught with a leaping kick to the top.   Sabian hit a great springboard into a top rope rana.  They battled back and forth with strikes until Gordon was elevated up into a knee.  Gordon came back with a double springboard dive to the floor.  Sabian came back with a nice running flip dive.  He hit an awesome double stomp for another two count.  Gordon came back and scored a close two count with a Falcon Arrow.   They battled back and forth until Gordon scored with the Pele Kick.  Sabian caught him with the Ghostbuster for a two count, then hit a half Dragon suplex for another close near fall.  Gordon caught him with a TKO Cutter and scored the pin.  Really good, long, physical bout.

Kaylee Ray vs. Viper.

They shook hands and hugged before the bout.  They took their time working over each other's arms early on before going back and forth with near falls.  Viper went to help up Ray, who pulled her down into a two count.  Viper returned the favor and was rocked with a right hand.    Ray hit a dropkick glancingly.  Viper nailed a dropkick in return that looked better.   Ray went to the floor, trying to curb the momentum.   Viper scored a two count with a high cross bodyblock.   Ray went for a rana but was caught and slammed down face-first.  Viper nailed a running senton for a two count.  Ray locked her in a guillotine choke but Viper powered out.  They exchanged suplexes. They battled to the top, where Viper went for a move but was fought off.  Ray reversed a move into a DDT for a two count.  She nailed a Gori Bomb on Viper for a two count.  Viper caught her on the ropes with a kick and nailed a big driver off the top for the pin.

Your winner, Viper!

ROH International Cup: Jimmy Havoc vs. Christopher Daniels.

Sort of friendly back and forth early on until Havoc caught Daniels with a right.  Havoc nailed a springboard into a DDT on the floor.  Havoc placed Daniels in a chair near ringside and did a lap around the ring before poking the former ROH Champion in the eye.  Havoc pulled a table out from under the ring.  They explained it was under the ring as it was at ringside for a pre-show meet and greet.  Exposition!   Back in the ring, Daniels nailed a clothesline in the corner, then a standing suplex.   Daniels locked in a side chinlock.  Havoc fought back with a series of strikes in the corner, then nailed a big double boot kick.  Havoc nailed a double stomp for a two count.  Third double stomp of the show, by the way.   Havoc nailed a death valley driver off the ropes and came up right into a thrust kick for another two count.  Havoc went to the floor and when he returned, he had a staple gun.  Daniels battled him over it and in the ensuing fight, they knocked referee Todd Sinclair down.  Sinclair got stapled in the butt but somehow that wasn't a DQ.  Havoc shoved Daniels into Sinclair and the idea was that Sinclair, holding the gun now, accidentally stapled Daniels, who was then hit with the Acid Rainmaker and pinned.  Really hokey ending.

Your winner, Jimmy Havoc!
