Ricky Roberts, who appeared in the Elias-Bobby Lashley segment, was portrayed by long-time Carolinas talent John Skyler. The name was a reference to the Rock N' Roll Express and the promo was obviously inspired by the old Jeff Jarrett Double J interviews.
Renee Young, who did a great job in her Raw announcing debut, noted in a WWE YouTube video (see below) that Vince McMahon was only in her ear once, advising her to slow down "on a few things" and commented, "And, geez, if that’s the only note that I get from him tonight, hallelujah. I’ll take it.”
The opening match of Raw last night was invaded by a bird. There was a bird flying around the Greensboro Coliseum and it actually landed in the ringside area not far from where Alicia Fox was standing.
Fox, by the way, was dressed similar to the DC Comics' character Poison Ivy, playing off the idea that Alexa Bliss has taken some inspiration from DC's Harley Quinn character. Harley and Ivy have been intimately connected for some time in the comic storylines.
Dean Ambrose was hidden backstage in a bus until it was time for his reveal last night. He's back full-time.
Rebecca Hardy and King Maxel were sitting ringside last night.
Liv Morgan noted on her Instagram that her makeup and gear last night were a tribute to Natalya and Jim Neidhart, writing, "My makeup and gear tonight was in dedication to someone I look up to and value so much, @natbynature and in memory of her father, The legendary Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart. I can’t thank you enough for all the guidance and time you spend helping me to be a better performer. You and your family are so loved and in everyone’s thoughts and prayers. I love you Nattie"
