With Ring of Honor doing so well with their MSG pre-sale, how long will it be before WWE takes notice?

Trust me when I say WWE has already taken notice and I am sure they were keeping tabs on the ticket sales yesterday.  I would be stunned if WWE didn't make a strong run for any talents they believe are the most important to ROH if and when their deals expire prior to the G1 Supercard.    It would be in their best interest to do so, even if it would hurt the ROH show.  Obviously, WWE is going to want to curtail as much momentum as they can for that show, especially there is no doubt that ROH will crack a million dollar gate in front of a close to, if not completely sold out, MSG.  WWE isn't going to ignore that.  No chance they will ignore that.  As to whether they are able to sign up any of the ROH or New Japan talents who have deals expiring before April 2019, time will tell.

Why is WWE not putting the entire Mae Young Classic up like they did last year?

My guess is that based on the data they have access to, the company feels it will be more beneficial to the Network to roll out a new episode every week, as opposed to dumping them for binge-watching.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Nigel McGuinness, and am really loving his WWE announcing work — especially little Bobby Heenan traits like calling Lucha House Party the “Loser House Party” and his constant degradation of Percy Watson. Do you see Nigel ever getting back in the ring again, as a one-off? Maybe Pete Dunne gets a little disrespectful and starts something with Nigel, and it culminates at TakeOver or the UK show?

There's certainly always a possibility.  I could see WWE doing an angle to have Nigel come back and wrestle at some point, but I don't think he's been interested in a full-time return to the ring.  All signs are that he's moved on and is at peace with retirement, especially since he now works for WWE, which was always his goal.  He had an incredible body of work in the ring and should be proud of what he accomplished, but if WWE asked, I am sure he would listen.

First, I have to say I love your site and keep up the great work.  I've been an elite member since day 1 and I consider you guys to be the best in the biz.  Anyway, my question is about ROH house shows.  I'd never really thought about it before, but ROH was recently announced to be coming to my area for the first time ever, and it got me thinking.  Who runs their house shows?  Do they have agents like WWE? Is there a central person in charge on the road? I know the owner and/or some higher ups occasionally appear on camera as authority figures, but I'm guessing they're not on the road at every event, right?  What is the power structure on any random, non-televised event?

Delirious is the booker and is at all the events.  Greg Gilliand runs the day to day of the company with Joe Koff as the COO.   Gary Juster runs the live event aspect of the company.   Juster and Gilliand would be on the road regularly.  Koff is at a lot of events, but not all.  BJ Whitmer, Joey Matthews, Christopher Daniels, among others, work as agents.   Whitmer, Daniels, Todd Sinclair and Bully Ray all assist with the creative process.  Thanks for the kind words!

I remember when Eric Bischoff made his WWE debut, he came out to AC/DC's "Back In Black".  Then, they changed it to "I'm Back".  Did WWE not get the rights from AC/DC to use the song?

They created their own theme song for him.    Why pay for something that you can create and own yourself?
