THE END OF BROCK IN WWE, RICOCHET ON THE MAIN ROSTER, LANA’S ACCENT AND MORE

Do you see Ricochet being a big star on the main roster or will Vince screw it up as he usually does with NXT talent?

Given his size, I am leery of what Vince will do with him.  The guy has a ton of talent and he’s not going to get called up soon most probably.  If/when he does, I honestly can’t say how he will be used.  All I can say is I hope that it’s that he is used well.

With the way WWE booked the segment of Brock manhandling Paul, to me this whole Summerslam/UFC build-up has taken on the feel of the heel swerve of when Heyman jumped ship to become Big Show's manager and help defeat Lesnar.  Have there been any rumblings of Heyman staying on with WWE and managing/representing any other star while Brock goes to the UFC?  and if so/not, is there any person you could see him jumping to and helping "screw" Brock out of the title because of the manhandling angle?

I haven’t heard any rumblings to that affect and frankly, I think that would suck.  Lesnar needs to lose that Title cleanly.  He hasn’t put any younger talent over and he needs to do that before he leaves.  As for Heyman, I would love to see him stay on with a new charge, but not until well after the dust with Brock has settled.

So when are WWE going to just tell Lana to stick with her natural American accent? Her vignette with Aiden English on Smackdown started with her using a Russian inflection, before seemingly forgetting about it an instant later. The Lack Of Continuity Train strikes again!

There’s no time like the present for that one.  The accent needs to stay buried at this point.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I have absolutely nothing against a corporation engaging in philanthropic activities, and in terms of actually helping people, I think it's great that WWE engages in the fight against breast cancer, pediatric cancer, etc. But at the same time... do you ever think that WWE's constant onscreen reminders of their charitable works reek of desperation for mainstream acceptance? There are so many sports and entertainment companies that do similar things, but you never see MLB or the NBA hammer that fact into your head all the time when you're watching a game. WWE, on the other hand, seems downright obsessed with proving just how saintly they are, especially when you consider Stephanie McMahon's infamous "Philanthropy and marketing" tweet from a few years ago. Thoughts?

Have you watched NFL football in October?  Everything is pink for Breast Cancer awareness.  Obviously, whenever an entity gets behind a cause and embraces it, there will be a degree of promotion involved.  To me, that just comes with the territory.

Are there any plans for the WWE Network to upload the WWE years of Ohio Valley Wrestling anytime soon?  I like that WWE Network now has classic footage from many promotions. However two promotions that don’t have a lot are the AWA and Smoky Mountain. Are there plans to add these two in the future?

It all comes down to getting the footage ready for the Network, which can be an arduous process.  They have to digitize it, check for verbiage, whether there is copyrighted material, etc.  It takes time.
